Shoretemp heating and cooling

My furnace died in our new home. Furnace and AC were about over 20 yrs old, so my wife and I decided to invest in a whole system. Tim and his worker Franky were excellent. Agreed on a great price and the work was meticulous. I’m completely satisfied, they went above and beyond during the whole 3 day job, and they didn’t lose patience with me once, so for that I have my go to HVAC guy. Highly recommended

I called Shoretemp for the first time because my upstairs (attic) furnace suddenly stopped working. Tim made sure he got to me the same day so I wouldn't have to go 2 nights without heat in the bedrooms. He arrived at my home around 5:00 PM after working a long day in NYC. He quickly diagnosed a small water leak which triggered a water sensor that shuts the furnace down to prevent a flood in the attic. Tim fixed the leak and reset the sensor. He then checked the second furnace in my basement and found a similar leak which he also then repaired. I found Tim to be very professional; well-versed in his craft and basically a very nice person overall. When I had another HVAC problem arise a couple weeks later, I was quick to call Shoretemp again. This time the problem was with my Hot water Heater. Another contractor discovered a large corroded opening in the exhaust pipe coming from the hot water heater. This opening was most probably leaking carbon monoxide into my crawlspace; luckily not enough to set off any alarms in my home, but certainly not a healthy situation. Again Tim was at my home the next day and replaced the entire pipe and got the system "up to code." Since Tim was already in the crawlspace he was more than willing to check out a few other problems I needed investigated. Understand, working in a crawlspace is MISERABLE, but Tim was more than willing to help me out. Coincidentally, my Dryer had stopped functioning and the dryer vent piping was also in the crawlspace. Tim not only changed and cleaned out the dryer vent piping in the crawlspace, he took apart the front of my dryer and cleaned the lint from there too! He checked the crawlspace pipes for any possible leaks, but luckily none were found. Tim felt the crawlspace was very cold, and the pipes needed more insulation, so he took the initiative to insulate them to prevent any future damage. I also asked Tim to investigate why my younger son's bedroom was always colder than the other upstairs rooms. So now it was up to the attic where Tim found that 1 of the flexible duct work lines feeding my son's room was never properly attached and had disconnected. He reattached the line properly and we will see over time, if that solves the problem. As I stated above, I found Tim to be very professional; well-versed in his craft and basically a very nice person overall. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing HVAC assistance or repairs. He is very knowledgeable, capable and easy to work with.

Excellent! I had the units replaced in April 2015 and it still is operational and running smoothly. They were very professional and left the area cleaner than they had found it.

My heater just went down today and Tim was able to come out same day, which I was really appreciative of. He arrives, checks everything and discovers the ignition is broken. He said that his supplier is closed, but that because of my situation with the cold he would go to Home Depot. He was, thankfully, able to repair everything and get everything running.
I have used Tim to repair both my A/C and my heater, I can say he is very meticulous and double checks his work to make sure everything is working properly. He is very professional and has made me feel like I am an appreciated customer of his business. Which is why I will always call on Tim for my A/C and heater.
