Heating and Air Conditioning Service
I thought the price was fine. We had a replacement unit this past summer. The one that we needed replacing obviously was not good quality, but they replaced it for free. So, I can't complain about that. They were very good with replacing it.

The reason why I would grade Sears down is because of the amount of time you have to wait in line in order to get serviced. They don't have enough people working the registers. It takes such a long time to put the orders in even if you stand in line, you could be standing there forever. The punctuality issue is only in the amount of time of waiting to put the order not punctuality on the other end.

Water Heater Service
The sales person was very nice, and took his time with us. We picked out a water heater and chose to have it installed. Sears actually had a subcontractor come out to install it. When this person came out, they added about $500 extra on top of the $250 I already paid for the installation. They took advantage of the situation because they knew I had no choice. The water heater was here and I needed to have it installed.
When I contacted Sears to complain about these hidden fees, they were incredibly rude about it. They told me to basically deal with it, they said I either have it installed at that price or I don't. They said "you either have hot water or you don't"!

Carpet Cleaning
The cleaning wasn't up to what I had expected. I knew that the carpets were very dirty but there were noticeable areas where they didn't even try, such as the long baseboards. Their excuse was that the suction in their machine was too much and it would pull the carpet up. There were areas on the steps that weren't as clean as I would have liked them to have been. It was a very sloppy crew that came in.
