I had gotten several estimates to do the work - one company charged $130 per hour (said it would take approx. 3 hours), another company was $275, but I didn't have a sense of confidence after meeting with the guy. I pass by Ras Tico's every morning bringing my child to daycare so I gave them a call. Joel came out the same day and gave me a written estimate/contract that included leaf and branch removal from the front and back yards as well as a complimentary lawn cut. I have them coming out one more time when all the leaves are off the trees for another $225 so my contract was for a total of $450.
Three guys showed up over this past weekend and spent the next 3-1/2 hours working non stop, blowing leaves into a giant pile and then raking them onto a tarp. They would then drag this giant tarp to the sidewalk and one of the guys vacuumed them all up into the truck. These guys cleaned all of my flower beds and did an amazing job.
To be honest, I had planned on trying to negotiate a little better price by paying cash, but after seeing how hard they worked and the type of job they did, I paid the full amount in cash.
I would highly recommend these guys.
