Description of Work: Miss Lori is teaching my daughter to be an independent swimmer. She is two and in two sessions has learned so much.. She recently fell in a pool on vacation (we were standing at an arms reach). She was able to swim to the stair and get out.. It was amazing! She never panic just did exactly what she was taught..

Description of Work: Structured enviornment for learning to swim which is good. But, has high expectations with no support. Plays favorites with parents and students. Never smiles and seems like a miserable human being. The male instuctor seems to be much kinder but my child was not in his class. I have a two year old who was doing well in her independent swim class. While the majority of the other students were cying the entire class, my child was following directions and eagerly trying to please and do well. At one point the students start to learn how to float on their backs and then roll onto their stomaches. My son rolled to his stomach and was having difficulty trying to find his way back to the wall. Which the instructor figured was him choosing not to follow directions. So, she put him in a time out. Which I was ok with because she wanted him to listen to her and basically it was a misunderstanding. After he served his time out, he was back in the pool following directions and doing what was expected of him. The class had about 20minutes remaining and he was great for the rest of class. After class when my two year old came to me and gave me a hug. She came up to me and my son and said he had a time out, but that she chose not to give him a lollipop (the rest of the class was given a lollipop if they wanted one), he was excluded because of what had happened 20 mins. before.
