We hired John at ESA Contracting to do a complete exterior makeover of our Bay Head home. John coordinated the design and installation of the Red Cedar Siding, trim and gutters. They were absolutely incredible to work with and finished on time and on budget. I would love to recommend John and ESA Contracting and invite you over to see the work in person.

The job was done quickly and with great attention to detail. John was on site every day and stayed abreast of changes and additions. He offered good ideas and worked to keep costs down. Even the cleanup was good. The workers did trample some plants/bushes, but overall very happy.

John is the first contractor we have ever used since we had a bad experience with a different one years ago and it was a breath of fresh air. We had a house fire and the issue of insurance dragged out for 2 years. John stuck with us throughout the whole thing and stayed in contact, which made a big difference compared to all the other bids we received for the repairs. He had great vision and was current on all the styles of windows, doors, siding, roofing, you name it. When we finally closed out our insurance and received well less than what we needed for our house, John understood and worked with us as best as he could with our budget. The home came out above expectations and we definitely stand out on our block in a good way! The dark hardy cement board siding with the wood-tone accents and white azek was an awesome, high-end-looking, classy choice! His team was respectful and always cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier with my home and John. I'd recommend him to my family and friends if and when they ever need their roofing, siding, and/or windows done.

I hired ESA to replace my siding, windows, and back deck on my Jersey shore home. I was very pleased with the whole experience, including the fair price, the constant communication with Mr. Sherwood, and most importantly they completed all work on time. The house renovation exceeded our expectations. Mr. Sherwood was constantly giving his input as to what he thought would look best and did his best to keep the cost down I highly recommend you use ESA Contractors and would do so again if I have another home renovation project.

We saw a home around the corner from Us getting sided and it came out amazing so I called ESA contractors and spoke with John Sherwood. He came Over and spent so much time explaining all that he was going To do with our home To re-side it. he gave us a price and we were anxious to begin and get it done , but the pandemic hit. When we were once again able To resume John came back out and Still honored his pricing which was greatly appreciated because the material was inflated post Covid. John was so professional And articulate in his explanation of exactly what he was going to do and what material He was using . He uses all quality high end material . He truly takes So much pride in his company and is Always available to talk to. He oversaw the whole project regularly. His team are experts in there craft . I began searching for a Vinyl siding contractor and first called All County Exteriors. The sales rep was very informative and gave me different pricing on different grades of Certain Teed Vinyl Siding with your basic aluminum wrap of the facia, windows, doors, etc. No new gutters or extras. His top-of-the-line price I thought was very high at $30,000 plus. I decided to compare pricing and read reviews on Home Adviser for E.S.A. Contractors. All the reviews were excellent and praised the work done by this company. I contacted John Sherwood who immediately told me that his pricing was going to be more than All-County. At at $40,000, it certainly was. However, John walked me around my house, which is 3,200 square feet and pointed out all the extras I would be getting such as; new gutters, Azek trim around all the front and side windows along with crown molding, Certain Teed 6 inch beaded soffit to the entire porch and all other soffit areas on the rest of the house, new gutters, two colors ofCedar Impression scallops in gable peaks in front of the house and dormer peaks. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed with the price but impressed by his knowledge and forsight into what would make my house look great. Prior to signing any contract, John gave me various completed jobs to inspect. After inspecting his work at various locations and based on the extras I was getting I decided the price was well worth it. The entire job took a little longer than expected but I am completely satisfied with what I consider a masterpiece. John Sherwood took a personal interest in seeing that the job was getting done correctly and was on-site most of the time. I most compliment John's crew of workers, Emerson, Raphael and Otiere. Raphael and Otiere were very dedicated and professional and worked 10 to 11 hour days. I highly recommend E.S.A. Contractors and specifically John Sherwood to guide you throught whatever project it is you need.

The project was done professionally. Both John, the contractor, and Dave, the garage door installer, were great to work with. The price was fair, the work was excellent and Dave and John were great to work with. I will use E.S.A. Contractors again.

ESA installed new windows and new front porch stair railings. They did very good work and John, the contractor, provided very good customer service. The cost was very fair.

John takes a personal intertest in the workmanship and outcome of his projects. He is thorough, fair and has great follow up skills. We replaced poorly installed vinyl siding, all azek trim and found out we needed a new roof. John didn't try to upsell or make the job seem larger than it was. I highly recommend ESA - you will not be disappointed.

John was great to work with house came out beautiful.

John was on the job and made sure the work was done correctly and in a timely manner.He did windows,vinyl siding and replaced the roof.He was fairly priced and I had three competitive bids before I hired him.

John has a great eye for detail and his experience shows. He orders the best brand and products for the job. John was always in constant communication throughout the project. His guys were extremely hard workers by putting in 13 hours days. John has many connections with home improvements. He recommended other companies to fix other parts of my house including an excavator and mason. My house felt like a fixer upper on the outside, but now I have great pride in my home and that s a huge thanks to John and his team. I m extremely grateful for the hard work they have done. I highly recommend hiring John for any projects that you need to be done for your home.

The project is top notch. Excellent work ethic and very professional. High end products were used at a reasonable price. Would use their services again and would highly recommend this company.

John was one of the most professional contractors I have worked with. He was punctual and showed up on the job to see that the work was getting done properly. I would recommend John and his guys to anyone needing their siding redone. They were finished within 2 days. The grounds were cleared of all debris when they were finished. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants professional,friendly & honest contracting experience. His help,with ideas for finishing work was above what was expected. The roof, siding, replacement windows & front porch rails were completed in a very timely manner & did everything as promised. it has been almost 10 years & the quality of work is still present without flaw. I referred him often & will continue to do so.
