East Coast Construction and Paving

I hired East Coast Construction and Paving to pave my gravel driveway (4,000 sq ft) and seal my existing paved driveway area (400 sq ft). The son's owner was quite friendly, gave me a good price ($ 6,500) since he had his equipment already in the area and we agreed to start in two days. He asked me for 50% in advance what I promptly denied and gave him $1,000 as down payment. Two days after the workers were there for the service and executed it quite well, good quality from my point of view. At the end of the day my neighbour seeing the job they were doing decided to hire them to redo his driveway. The company's responsible (owner's son) offered me to seal the new paved area for $700 and would return in two days to execute it. Since I had to pay for the balance he convinced me to add the $700 in the same check and I thought it shouldn't be a problem. Just for precaution, I asked for a service contract for the $700. He called me twice in the following two days rescheduling the service and never called me back again. For a month now I've been trying to contact the company thru all the phone numbers they have without any success. In fact, I just noticed at least my contact has changed his cell phone number. East Coast Construction and Paving, a company with zero professionalism, I don't agree at all with the A grade in the Angie's list website.
