I'm still shocked with how well the move went. The guys worked their tails off in 90 degree heat. They didn't stop or complain for one second. They came in and somehow managed to get everything on the truck. When they got to my new house they unloaded almost as fast as they loaded up. I kept them going with cold water. They loaded all the boxes into the garage for me. When they moved the furniture they wouldn't put it down until I gave them the full approval of where to put it and made sure I was happy with the positioning. With all they did for me they still came in just under the estimate. You usually hear horror story's when it comes to moving, but, that won't happen with this company. If I ever move again I would call them in a heartbeat. In the meantime I will recommend them to anyone else who needs a reliable, polite and efficient moving company.

Classic Moving was a company I had used in the past, so when it came time to move I called them. I contracted for 4 men to move my belongings. They arrived on time and loaded the truck. My furniture was left on the truck overnight which was in the contract. I paid for this, however the next morning only 3 men showed up to unload the truck. I was very concerned about this but knew I would be charged an hourly fee if I waited until the next day when 4 men would possibly show up, as stated in my contract.. Unfortunately, I had no other choice but to let the 3 men unload the truck. This was when all the damage happened. My friend and I were horrified when my 90and quot; x. 50and quot; beveled glass top for my dining room table was taken off the truck and was scraped along the ground because it weighed close to 550lbs. They were unable to hold the glass. My brand new $800 electric fireplace was left upside down in my garage. I can only describe this as ruthless. When I contacted Jeff, the owner, he was aloof and disinterested in helping me. Before you make a move, check all reviews written about that company you're entrusting moving your belongings.

I received a check from the insurance company for $351.00 for the damages.

They were very quick and efficient. They were friendly and the cost was good. We asked them to take few extra things and that was good.

My move was broken into 2 parts, over the course of approx 8 months. For the move into storage I was charged $140 for and quot;travel timeand quot; and for the move into my new house I was charged $152 for and quot;travel timeand quot; totaling $292 for and quot;travel timeand quot; plus a fuel allowance of $105.96. So before this company lifted a finger for my job I was out of pocket $397.96. Please keep in mind that their home office is located 15 minutes from my house, so almost $400 seems extremely excessive. I also found blue tape adhered to my furniture that they used to wrap with. I think that in the least my furniture should be returned to me in reasonable condition. I don't even know how to get the tape off! The owner claims that since my furniture was in storage for awhile, the weather made the tape adhere, which sounds reasonable, until you realize that they are the professionals and should account for weather fluctuations which in New Jersey could occur in the course of days. And even though they did not unwrap all of my job due to circumstances beyond their control, or assemble anything, (again not their fault), I was still charged the fee for the full job, assembly, unwrapping etc. even though most of my furniture was put in my garage. And lastly, my outdoor table which should have been unwrapped was not, but instead was left on my deck still fully wrapped in cardboard - what? I really have no problem with the guys themselves, except for the few mishaps. Every job will have a few things that don't go perfectly, the real quality of a company is in how they handle the problems. I did contact the owner who was uninterested and did not even attempt to offer any solutions. All in all, this has been a very expensive lesson.

This was the first time I could honestly say WOW about a move. I called on Saturday and they were able to move me on Monday. The distance was under 10 miles and they were finished in about 1 1/2 hours. They were on time, business friendly and ready to work. Each piece of furniture was completely covered before moving anything. Even trying to find something negative, I can't find a thing. I would not consider using any other company.

Outstanding service! They showed up early and certainly went the extra mile in every respect. They took great care in protecting my furniture and household items - not a single scratch, dent or scrape! They were professional and courteous.

The truck arrived within the time frame stated with 3 personnel. Moved more items than originally intended without any complaints from the workers. They we courteous and worked with us throughout the move to make sure we were satisfied. They worked fast and steady to insure the original quote was not exceeded.

I have used this company twice in the past year. Both times the cost estimate for the job was within the actual price, the movers showed up on time and worked efficiently to complete the move. The guys were friendly and followed directions quickly and cheerfully. I was satisfied with the service.

RELIABLE MOVERS ARRIVED ON TIME AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.

We had the best experience with these movers. This is a family owned business and they are all exceptional at what they do. We had a LOT of stuff to move - an almost endless supply of totes and boxes, and all of our furniture. They came over and did an estimate and walk-thru. We purchased boxes from them. On moving day, they showed up slightly early. They shrink-wrapped all of the upholstered furniture to prevent damage. They disassembled a 2-piece china cabinet that has glass shelves and moved it with no damage. They filled 2 trucks by noon, met us at the new house, and unpacked and placed everything in it's proper place (as marked). There was minimal breakage (a bird feeder and a light bulb). They crew is easy to deal with, made the hard work look easy, and they were easy to communicate with. Overall, I would highly recommend them!

My daughter was moving from New Jersey to here and so we used them. They were very prompt and they did what they said. Since we were moving all the way back to Long Island from a storage unit we had to go down there once to look at what was there in the storage unit. They were very cooperative with us because by the time we got there it took us 2 and half to 3 hours. They were very cooperative with us in the fact that we couldn't get down there until 12 for the person to meet us there. I appreciated that cooperation. When they were coming to actually pick up the stuff they were very prompt and they loaded it up extremely fast. They were 3 people on the truck and they were extremely pleasant. When they got back here they were very quick unlike our experience with another moving company. When they got here they were very fast at unloading. Since we had to get some large furniture down in the basement they worked really hard and most of it fit though a couple didn't. They charged me just the same as the other company charged me when I was going down so I assume that was the accurate price. If they had charged extremely less or another company beat them, then I would have had more to compare them on. I guess their price was accurate though they are all very expensive. I don't think anything got broken while they were moving and so they were very good. They were very responsive and their professionalism was good.

Movers were late, but I did receive a call explaining why. Not a problem. They were friendly and packed fast, wrapped the furniture well, I thought. Found out they put numerous small boxes into large and quot;movers boxesand quot;. Hard to find many items. Broke the bottom supports of a dresser, then simply told me how to repair it. A new leather couch , a couple months old, still had the tags on it, tags went missing when unwrapped, also tore the underside covering of the couch. Offerered to repair / replace it, but after watching the way some things were handled, I declined, didn't want to chance anymore problems. Filled out a card explaining all this to the owner, mailed it back, but never heard a word. Would not recommend them.

It turned out excellent.

They were a little pricey but did a great job. They were very careful to not mess up our new home. They were overall quite good. A couple of things were broken but that is definitely understandable with the amount that we moved and the length we had to go.

Excellent. Just make sure they explain all the charges to you. Ask about travel time and the"fuel transportation chg". In my case they could not give me an estimate because they did not know how much was in the truck. Also I had to pay in cash which was not a problem.
