Cerami Lawns

I’ve used cerami lawns for several years. My lawn is gorgeous. Many compliments. I always credit them. I highly recommemd them.

The first 3 treatments were great, lawn looked awesome. then they came for the fourth treatment and the front half of my front lawn burned up. I called on 7/24 and spoke tp them and asked if someone would come out to look at lawn I told them I wasn't paying for that treatment and I did not want further treatments until I resolved the issue. I received a note in my door I am guessing on July 25th (actually saw the note on Sat the 26th) saying that the supervisor would be in touch. On Aug 24th I was home from work when I heard them working on my property I went out and said to the gentleman that I had told his company I wanted no more treatments until the problem was resolved. At that time he began to tell me how "crappy" it was I didn't tell him until after he was done. I told him that I left word at his office and it was not my responsibility to keep him updated on his work load. So I called the office to complain about 1 month going by and zero communication from anyone and about this gentlemen's attitude. The woman on the phone was very nice, apologized that I wasn't happy and would have someone follow up. The supervisor called me today Aug 26th. Said that he left me a voice mail. I don't have voicemail and it even says so on my phone when you call. Then when I told him I had two other company's come assess my lawn since I did not get any response for a month and explained what they said he became ignorant and dismissive saying that they didn't know what they were talking about. And they both came up with the same conclusion, not knowing the identity of the company that made the problem. He gave me incomplete and inaccurate explinations to which he said I am going to end the conversation with he was looking into whether there was a record of me calling and stopping the treatments, then abruptly hung up the phone. When I tried calling back, no one picked up.

It did not go very well. The 6 step program is OK and does somewhat of a decent job on the lawn. After that, it all goes downhill. We were excited about Cerami doing our weekly lawn maintenance but it turned out not to be what we thought. First let me say I feel we paid too much for the service we received. Our property is not the biggest in town but it also is not the smallest. Weekly lawn maintenance took less than 10 minutes (including edging, which is not done weekly, mowing and blowing of the hard surfaces which is suppose to be done weekly but most weeks it was sloppily done.)  The mower apparently is too heavy for the lawn and leaves unsightly marks. One week, we had a circular pattern.  It looked like a child did it.  The office staff is rude and uncooperative.  You can't change your day without a great deal of chaos.  They change schedules according to their needs.  They don't look to satisfy the customer.  I know their work is weather driven but they took it to the extreme.  All in all it was a horrible experience.  The office staff needs a people's skill class and the maintenance teams need micromanagement.  I would never use them again nor would I recommend them..........Judi Pais

I signed up for the 6 step annual lawn fertilizer program for the 1st time this season. Overall, lawn looked very good but I had to call a couple of times for issues that I told them when I signed up that I have had in the past with my lawn (fungus and sod webworms). They weren't proactive and as a result, I had some damage to my lawn. I told them to come out early and apply fungicide which they did not and put fertilizer down again to "push" fungus out of grass. The previous application was done in late July and it rained that night which I'm pretty sure washed away the chemicals as it was a liquid application. As a result, the lawn got bad in spots. I had to wrangle with the office staff a bit but got a supervisor to come out and check the lawn and do a re-application at no charge. They do keep the lawns they service very nice however you have to get past the "attitude" you get when calling in. I was told the last time I called in "you can't expect your lawn to look like Applebee's (which they take care of) because we are not there every week evaluating the lawn" meaning that it is my responsibility to alert them to problems unless I have them also cut my grass once a week. No thanks, I'll stick with the fertilizer program only for know. I will give them another season at this point because overall, the lawn looks pretty good.

It looks beautiful now. So far they are terrific.

I was a partner with a firm and we used to use them for our office and I just continued to use them. They are more commercial than residential and their equipment is just too heavy for the lawn. I pay by the cut and its $70 a cut and there were 2 or 3 different treatments that they did. I'm happy with the way they cut the lawn and the equipment they are using to cut the lawn.
