1) The salesperson provided an estimate within 30 minutes of hearing what needed to be done. 2) The install was scheduled and they showed up exactly when promised 3) Work was completed in a professional manner, older fence was removed, brush cut as needed for the new fencing installation, only what had to be was cut. 4) Workers cleaned up job site after their job was complete

I had an idea of what I wanted, Brian Koos spent over an hour working with me going over various designs and options. While their pricing was in the area of what i expected I did not sign the contract that day. Brian was not pushy at all and understood. I did get 2 other estimates that were much higher. When I was ready I called Brian and had changed the color of the decking. He revised the quote and I signed the contract. Work was complete 10 days later. There was a small qlitch, the workers made the deck the same size as the original porch but it was supposed to be larger to cover some imperfections in the patio. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until they finished. Marc Cerami had come by during and just as they finished and immediately remedied the situation. He offered to re-do the deck in the correct size or they could an add a board to the bottom step which would extend the deck. They came back the next day and added another board. It covered the imperfections and actually looked better than the original design. I would definately work with Carls again on another project.

The fencing was properly done, its just It took them time to complete the job because they did not showed up on time, They were 3 hours late. They Did not do what they said they would do. Also for the supervisor of the company, she was not easy to work with, when we were talking on the phone, she yells at me, crying I don't know why, looks like they are having personal problem within the company.

they showed up within the time window that they said. They worked very quickly ripping out the old fence and installing the new fence. I had a handyman give me a quote to do the same job and he estimated it would take him 2 weeks +/-. This crew of 2 finished the job in 4 hours!!! It was amazing and the fence looks great. They were both very professional, courteous and new exactly what to do. I'm delighted with my new fence!!

I had put this project off way too long because I was dreading dealing with more shady, sketchy contractors. Living in a house that's 84 years old, I've had more than my share of those! I was so pleasantly surprised and happy when I found Carl's! Everyone was very professional, courteous and punctual, and the workmanship was impeccable. Craig was the project manage and very easy to work with. He understood my concerns about being without handrails on the newly installed masonry stairs for even one day and arranged to have his crew start their part the day after the stairs were completed. He even stopped by a couple of times while the mason was working to see how it was going. Once his crew got started, they worked very fast and efficiently and left my property spotless when they were done. I could have gone cheaper but I wouldn't have had the great experience or the beautiful front porch I got from Carl's.

The sales rep was very courteous and helped us with the deck design details. Because I had both fencing and decking work done, I was able to obtain a discount on the whole package, which was nice, and made Carl's the low bidder . The fence installers were very courteous and neat. They had to work around some adverse weather conditions (heavy rains), but finished the job in one day. The only issue was that the door closers on the deck did not work properly, and it took Carl's a couple weeks to get back to replace the closers. Overall, a nice job. The deck installers were very meticulous. I spent a lot of time watching them. They absolutely made sure everything was level. If it wasn't, they would rip out the boards and redo them. The finished product is outstanding. Everything was cleaned up by the installers before they left. We are very happy with both decks. There were some issues with the township inspections, but my township is known for being very particular and somewhat arbitrary. Carl's worked through all the issues.

The representative for the estimate called he was in the area a little earlier, I thanked him for calling and to come earlier is fine. He was polite and thorough. The estimate was several hundred below another estimate that I was given, I scheduled. The two installers also arrived on time if not a few minutes early, they were polite, I had to leave for work but felt confident that the would install a quality product. The railings are beautiful and they cleaned after their work, not one piece of railing scrap. Carl's fencing delivered more than expected. I will definitely be using Carl's fencing again. Their project manager came out on a Sunday to scope the job and confirm our decking/railing choices. Good thing he did as we made some color changes that worked out for the best. When they began tearing out the old deck they found it wasn't properly installed. They could have completed the job based on the original quote but their advice, and I concurred, was to replace the frame and footings which gave me a completely new deck and attach it to the house (which was not the case with the original deck). I now have a very attractive deck that will last for many years to come. My wife and I are extremely pleased with Carl's professionalism and quality of work. Their workers were respectful of my property and did a great job.

Once they received permits from town things went very quickly. Tom and his crew were professional, knowledgeable and had a tremendous work ethic. Worked thru a couple of drizzly days and finished deck within a week. Clean up was excellent. Would definitely hire again.

From start to finish, this is how a project should go. Ryan, the sales person, arrived on time and discussed what we wanted, our options and promised to get back with a quote, which he did with an email a few hours later. This in and of itself was impressive because only about 50% of contractors actually keep their appointments for estimates. Communication was outstanding! They called the day before the installation day with an approximate time, and on that day they called about 1/2 hour before arrival. Frank and his crew confirmed the details and began the job. The finished product was excellent in my opinion, and more importantly, my wife loved it. As I said in the beginning, this is how every project SHOULD go.

Work went great. Mike accommodated a last minute adjustment to add a second gate. Team also had to install 2 additional panels (original delivery was short these 2 panels). Original fence delivery was installed in roughly 6 hours. They installed a temporary workable second fence until I got the new one and put in a temporary barrier for the 2 missing panels. Took a couple weeks later to get/install the second fence and 2 additional panels... I didn't know Carl's actually makes their own fences until after the original delivery was installed so completely understand the delay. Very professional company. I'd definitely use these guys again.

Went very well. They had a large selection of decking and railing choices. Everything was spelled out in an easy to understand contract. The work was completed in a couple of days. The team was neat and very respectful of my property. My wife and I are completely satisfied.
