 + -1 moreBrilliant Environmental did the job in a little over one day as scheduled, and came in under their original estimate.We were thrilled with the service and results. They ended up removing approx. 14.5 tons of soil and then filling the hole with new sterile soil. They were very careful to protect my lawn, front concrete walkway and my shrubs. They did a great job, answered all my concerns and worked with us on any questions or issues we had. They then filed the necessary report with test results to the NJ State DEP, and we expect that our case will be closed within a few weeks. I Highly Recommend these folks for this type of work.
Description of Work: Brilliant Environmental was selected from three firms that provided estimates, ranging from approx. $23,000 - $8,500. They had a great reputation and references, so that with the lowest estimate got them the deal. In April 2011, we had an underground heating oil storage tank removed and discovered that it had leaked some oil over that last few years, contaminating the soil around the house. This leak was reported to the NJ State DEP and as a result, we needed to have the situation remediated to cleanup the spill.
