Wayne Mathis was hired by a prospective buyer to provide a termite inspection for mortgage approval.  I was eventually copied on his findings and we called to obtain a better understanding of his report.  Wayne took the time to walk us through the report (line by line) and gave us (seller) his recommendations on what actions needed to be taken. 

Once we agreed to have Best Pest Control perform the servcies, Wayne made all of the arrangements (One-Call for utility marking) etc...  Since we are out of state, Wayne worked with our realtor to gain access to the house and he completed his treatments before the promised date.  Wayne immediately called  to let us know that the work was done.  He does not accept crediit cards but was okay with us sending a check via next day delivery.

When we received our reminder card that our inspection and contract renewal were due, we called the company and made an appointment. Wayne arrived on time and put on clean fabric booties over his work boots before entering our home. He inspected the home and as usual no problems were found. He then inspected our garage thoroughly (where we have had termite issues in the past), and that was clean as well in spite of the recent unseasonably warm weather. This was followed by an inspection of the exterior of our house, where he found pavement ants on/under our back patio (almost inevitable if you are on a slab). He treated for those only after explaining to me what he was applying and how it worked, and allaying any concerns I had about danger to pets and family. (I always ask since I am paranoid about that kind of thing.)

Wayne is very friendly and professional, and I highly recommend his services.

I have lived here since 2005. I normally get a reminder that it's time for the inspection, but I didn't. So, I called them back and I am waiting to find out whether my recollection is correct so that we can schedule a visit. I have felt good enough about them that I have referred them to somebody who had a termite problem and Best Pest Control rectified the problem. They did the repairs for termite infestation. I spent about $100 for the inspection that they did when they were last here. As long as you maintain a record of them coming to inspect, then if something were to arise, they would take care of it at no charge if there is a guarantee. I think it's perhaps a standard practice, but I don't know. I didn't have any problems. They have an ethical business practice because they didn't try to sell me something unnecessary. I live by the shore. They also installed vents around the foundation. I felt comfortable enough with them that I went to them first to get that work done. There was just one guy who came out and he was excellent.
