Attic Stairs

The owner came with his assistant. They were prompt and courteous. I called for an estimate on a Wed and they came the following Monday to do the install. I would hire them again in a second. Highly recommend them!

Called and made appointment and all was done within few days even with snow that morning. Quote over phone. Stairs were wood like we had before. Good cleanup. Took less than 90 minutes. Have to paint unfinished door yourself.

I did not use this company, but Angie's List keeps asking that I compete a review for them. So I am filling out a review.

Very well. The installation was a bit tricky but they did it with no problem. I had someone else come to look at it and they didn't want to do it. This contractor does it all the time, so it was not so tough for him to figure out.

This has happened now for the second time with an Angie's List contractor with an A rating. They must get so busy that customer service goes out the window. I contacted Pat Zazzara of Attic Stairs in Toms River, NJ to install attic stairs in our home. He seemed really nice, he knew exactly what it would cost and he set the expectation that he was busy, but then... He calls several times to confirm what we needed, often asking the same questions we had talked about before. He calls after a couple of weeks and says "how would you like your stairs installed on Saturday (3/12/16) and says that he will call us on Friday to give us a time. We go out for dinner Friday night but there is no message left on our machine. Saturday, I stay home all day and we don't get a call until 3:00pm, telling us he is not coming but he will call within the next couple of days to reschedule. It is now Wednesday evening and we still have not heard from Pat. We really don't appreciate being given a run-around. If he should call, we don't want him to do the work.

Pat did a fantastic job which included creating and framing a ceiling opening and installing the stairs. Great job from start to finish.

Arrived as scheduled, removed the old stairs, and installed the new stairs in less than an hour for the price quoted - quality work. Extremely pleased - will use in near future for replacement of second attic access. Thank you!

Could not be more pleased. We set an appointment for the Tuesday, May 26, 2015, but owner Pat called and said an opening was available on Monday, May 18, 2015. Very thankful for that. Pat and his team showed up a bit earlier and that was good also. The were very professional, yet were easy to talk to as they worked, because we had some questions to ask that were answered easily. They removed the old pull down stairs and proceeded to install the new one. Very neat work, cleaned up the area of all construction materials, saw dust, etc. They then proceeded to work on our second floor where the attic opening was located and again did a fine job that we will appreciate for years to come. We strongly recommend Pat's company to anyone.
