Aquatic Tom's Power Washing and Deck Staining

Overall, this was a very sloppy job -- which is what I was trying to avoid by hiring a professional. Tom, or "Aquatic Tom" as he corrected me, came out to my house a few days after my initial call and provided a color chart and business card with barely legible scribbles on it in my mailbox. He called me later to discuss the work and price. He was quite pushy (saying he already had us scheduled), and his price was the most reasonable. He send someone named Doug out a few days later to power wash the deck (went well), and a few days later, Doug came out to do the staining...and this is where our problems started. We came home to a sloppy job -- many spots were barely covered including virtually every post of our 750 sq. ft. deck. I called Doug who agreed to come back later in the week, as long as we marked spots that he had missed. Well, he kind of fixed his mistakes, but we're still finding areas that were not fixed. Plus, there's a strange sheen on 90% of the deck, but in other places he must have used a brush. I could have done the work myself and saved that money. Very disappointed for an alleged professional who has been in business for 30+ years...or at least that what he says. Look elsewhere.

Tom came out to quote the job and explained everything that would be done. Joe came out to power wash the deck. We then had a rainy week but Joe was great about calling the day before to discuss weather issues and reschedule staining. When the weather finally broke Joe was back to finish the job. Great communication all around. Deck looks great and we love the color stain that Tom had recommended.

Called and spoke to Tom on Thursday and by Wednesday the entire job was complete. It would have been done even sooner if it had not rained. It was a very positive experience.

Very good work. Arrived at a reasonable time in the morning and worked all day without a break. I'm very satisfied.

The technecian arrived on time and immediatly got to work. Entire job took about 4 hours. Wife and I were very pleased with the quality of the work. Our house and patio look like new. Will definately use this company again.

I called Tom for an estimate and we set up a time , he was not able to make that time but called to let me know and although it took a few tries because of schedule conflicts he always called and was very prompt when we were able to set up a time. Tom explained exactly what was needed and what he could do. My deck is large and tiered and includes a semi- inground pool and hot tub so there was a lot to do. Tom explained how the job would be done and how the pool and hot tub would not be effected.He gave me a written estimate and explained each part and itemized the cost including how much stain would be needed. He suggested a stain and how it would work for my deck.He was very informative and although it was more than I wanted to spend because he took the time to explain the costs it seemed fair .The power washing was done one day and because of the weather the staining was not done until a few days later. The men who did the job were professsional and did a great job. They were very careful and and left no mess, I did not have to clean a thing.I am very satisfied with the resultsand would use them again .

The experience went very well from start to finish. I was a bit nervous since this company did not have any reviews yet. They were local and gave a good estimate so I decided to move forward. They came right away for the estimate and was ready to schedule the work quickly. My phone calls were returned right away. I had a large composite deck (timbertech) that had many mold and mildew spots. We had tried to clean on our own in the past with no luck. They were able to clean off everything with just water (no chemicals used). Everything went well and I would use them again.
