It was a small job, and he fit it in without much delay.  Nice guy,
explains things well, and quoted me a reasonable price which not all
contractors do in my area.  Will definitely call him when it is time to
do siding repairs and the roof.

 He is local.  We have an 1889 victorian house with yankee gutters.  He went up to see what the problem was with the gutter and solve a drain pipe issue.  He cleaned it all out and at my request installed a drain pipe in that gutter, too.  He not only listened to me but he also completed the task.  At my specifications he was able to get  rain water problem resolved.  He's trustworthy and this work is excellent.  He's prompt and he listens to what you ask for.  That's probably the most important thing to me from a contractor.  They listen to what I say then they give me their professional opinion then we come to an understanding.
