In my town we need to get a permit to pull down a tree and I didn't know about it. They didn't get a permit. They came and started to pull down the tree but somebody called the cops. The cops came but by then the tree just came down so they were able to talk to the cops and actually tell them that we didn't cut down the tree but just trim other trees out there. I paid half price for that. It was controversial for them to cut down the tree. What they did was illegal and nothing else stands out. They were a normal company. Since they should have known, and they didn't come with a permit I think the quality of work could have been better. Though they were the ones doing it, it's the property owner's responsibility when it comes to that.

In general, they do a good job of mowing, etc. unless you have any expectations that are out of the ordinary. I have a naturalistic landscape and don't want everything to be squared-off. The workers used string trimmer and damaged shrubs and vines, pruned bushes that should not have been pruned so that I have removed this from my contract.

They were very timely on their arrival. I was quite pleased with their work performance with the exception of a few shrubs being missed of trims. The visual appearance is an improvement. If I would like to hire them on a regular basis, a written agreement will be completed.
