Description of Work: I've used Ed Smith (owner of E&D) for over 20 years, first at my condo and now in a single-family house. He is terrific! Professional, reliable, responsible, reasonable, trustworthy, and a fantastic carpenter. All I have to do is explain what I want, or show him a picture of something I like, and he can figure it out, or even come up with suggestions. He has done various projects for me over the years, and always goes above and beyond. I've recommended him to others, and they too, have been very satisfied with him. I have nothing bad to say about him, other than he can have a long waiting list! But if there's an emergency, he will be there for you. I highly, highly recommend Ed.

 + 0 moreThe job was performed during late fall and early winter months. Ed was extremely knowledgeable about his work, personable and also very professional. Estimate was accurate. Additional work was required due to a badly damaged header which had to be removed and also replaced. Despite the cold weather Ed finished the job and the final inspection was good. We were extremely happy with E and D Carpentry. We would definitely use E and D Carpentry again in the future for other repairs and replacement needs. We felt very safe and comfortable with this company. People walking by our house always stop and give us compliments on our new porch. It is now safe and secure and adds to the house in a good way. We can now enjoy sitting out on our beautiful front porch.
Description of Work: Full replacement of a completely old wooden front porch using exterior grade materials. All supports, framing, porch flooring, rails and columns along with a damaged header had to be replaced along with new lattice work to close access to under porch. Decking and rails were a manufactured product and would not require any painting as per our request. Lattice work was vinyl. Permit was required. All work was done satisfactorily and we were extremely happy with the end results.

 + -1 moreI WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE ADDITION THAT THEY BUILT LOOKS VERY NICE. I AM HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING THAT THEY DID. WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL. THEY WERE GREAT.
Description of Work: THEY BUILT AN ADDITION ONTO MY HOME.

 + -1 moreTHEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY. THEY DO GOOD WORK. THEY ARE A LITTLE SLOW, BUT THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK IS WORTH IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
Description of Work: THEY PUT UP SHEETROCK AND DID SOME REMODELING IN THE KITCHEN. THEY ALSO SIDED THE WHOLE HOUSE.
