Swedesboro Animal Hospital

Everything went really well. The receptionists were very nice, and we didn't have to wait long. The vet really seemed to know what she was doing. She asked a lot of questions, and tried to make the experience pretty quick and painless. They also have animal grooming and on-site doggie daycare, so we will definitely be going back.

This was the worst vet i've ever delt with. They sent our cat home early and uncured and filthy. When we returned and they took more $ from us. They had to unblock him again (rather then do a PU surgery which would've solved his problem). While there he developed an pneumonia due to their lack of cleaning. We went to visit several times and each time he was filthy. Each time we asked and was told they would clean him. They never did. When they discharged him the second time they did not give me the proper medication. I had to return a 3rd time. They issued medication that was wrong .... they failed to give one ... and another they failed to give the proper dosage. They lost a payment and tried to double charge me. I had to log onto my credit card website while there to prove a payment. They lied about charges and presented new unapporved charges when he was discharged. I was told to pay the bill or they would put the animal to sleep and send to collections.
Sadly less then 30 days later I had to take the cat to another hospital where he received the proper care and surgery for less then 1/2 the cost and has been healthy and happy for over a year now.
While there I witnessed two other incidents with other customers. One was charged for a grooming and cleaning and her animal was clearly not groomed or cleaned. It was comical. The other was furious over charges on her bill she never approved.
When I brought all of this to the attention of a supposed owner I was told to get a lawyer and they don't care.

surgery went well. non-cancerous tumor, fortunately. Was an older dog so I was concerned but she was well taken care of. When I had a question the day after surgery, I was able to get an answer fairly quickly. Incision healed nicely.
Yes, this practice is expensive, but my 2 dogs have different complicated issues and the Specialists on staff are knowledgeable and that is what I need. Even the regular Vets here have more knowledge than other practices I have been to looking for help for my dogs. Glad I do not have to go to PA for top notch Vet care.

Wonderful but expensive.

They are extremely expensive. The whole focus is money as opposed to the care. I had to leave my credit card, so they made sure they got paid for all that they did. The one vet was very unsympathetic and not professional, very business like and uninformed. The other vet I really liked. I will not ever use them again.
