For the most part, operations seemed to be well run and we generally liked the Owner, who was often on site to supervise. There were a couple of communication errors but owner took responsibility and corrected items. Clearing tree & grading of yard mostly went ok, except small drainage problem created behind the house and a problem with the grade of the driveway. Some additional work dealing with our downspouts was provided free of charge. However, we have many unresolved remaining problems and work. Project did NOT PASS town construction inspection. As of the this date, our construction permit remains open 9 months later. One of the french drains is crooked (it wasn't suppose to be) and very unsightly. We have unpaved driveway and they used the wrong material, creating a sandy beach like driveway that is causing us lots of headache, especially over the snowy winter. Contractor has not returned to fulfill final obligations and to work out the issues. Follow up: they did return and finish the work and complete the job.
