Premier Garage Door is a full service overhead door co. based in Sussex County NJ. We cover everything from small residential repairs to complex commercial installations. Our specialty is residential door replacement. We install over 400 doors in Sussex County alone. We are a small family owned company and have been in the trade since 1986. We have a display booth every year and the NJ State Fair and can give references from any township. We cover roughly a 50 mile radius from Vernon NJ. All work is covered under a no-nonsense guarantee and we are fully insured. Thanks for your interest.

Garage doors install went extremely well and job was done professionally and in a timely manner. Contractor showed up on time, system was installed and tested. Work site was cleaned up and all was good as new. Highly recommend Sean and his company to anyone who needs this service.

I contacted Sean after finding his company on Angie's List. He was very responsive and immediately scheduled an appointment to come out and measure my garage doors. Sean was very knowledgeable about the garage doors and provided information on the best doors to choose. I contacted Sean when I made the decision to allow his company to install my doors. Sean was very nice and accommodating. I let him know that I had to go through my mortgage company to obtain the check for the doors. I faxed over needed documents for him to sign for my mortgage company to release the check. Sean was on top of completing the forms and getting them right back to me. Once I received the check, I was alerted Sean that I would get it to him quickly. Sean contacted me as soon as he received the check so we could proceed with ordering the doors. Sean always responded to my calls and questions immediately. At times, I felt like I was being a pain but Sean was so nice about it. On the day of my install, Sean came as promised and started the job. He told me from the beginning that it would take two days to install both doors and garage openers. As promised, my doors were done on the second day. Sean sent me a detailed text message with all information that I was need since I wasn't home at the time.
Sean was excellent and I would recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing/installing garage doors.

This was a call that I kept putting off to do and each nite saying, why didn't I call! We were short 2 remotes and it was a pain having to always open and close the door after a remoteless family member comes or goes! I called at about 9:30 and rec'd a call back within about 20 minutes, Premier just happened to be finishing up work 5 minutes from us and asked if it were convenient for them to come right over, which it was! They did a great job, great price and great service! I am very satisfied and would use them again.

Everything went very well from the first appointment for the estimate to the installation of the doors. When Sean said he would call to give us the time frame for completing the job, he called. When we set up the appointment for the installation, he came on that day. He was very honest with what work needed to be done. We were able to use the garage door openers that we already had. He just made a minor adjustment to them. He is very professional, and the quality of the work is exceptional.

It was a very good experience. They were able to give us a quote over the phone and set up an appointment for the following week.
The technician arrived on time and explained what he needed to do. He was fast, neat and efficient. Our old garage door opener had an additional light attached to it that went on when the garage door opened (not part of the opener). The technician informed us that he would not reconnect the light as that should be done by an electrician. I was very glad that he was honest and gave us good advice. We are very happy with our new garage door opener and would definitely use Premier again.

The overall experience went very well and I found him here on Angie's list. Sean quoted a fair price for a new high insulation door,( equal to HD and also L's) which also had a great appearance, to replace the low quality one my house came with and also just happened to take damage during hurricane Sandy. He was very knowledgeable about where the doors are made ( they are basically all the same manufacturer, and are locally fabricated in the respective area) and the various options with each type. Overall quality of the install and reconnection to my door opener was exceptional. From the hot weather the door was installed in and the cold weather we are having now, the door is maintaining a perfect air seal to help slow down overall airflow (air seal is just as important as insulation in keeping temperature). I would recommend Sean to anyone I work with in need of a new garage door.

Sean was an absolute professional with great customer service. I had inteviewed another garage door vendor that covers several areas within NJ, NY and CT but I did not like their presentation. The other vendor quoted a price higher and said they would match anyone else's quote. I figured if you are going to do that, just give me a reduced price. I didn't like them so I decided to stay local and am very glad that I did. Sean explained the differences in all types of doors and while I was hesitant on going with steel, the product color matched our siding perfectly and it doesn't even look like a steel door. It has definitely made a difference in temperature in our garage. Sean returned phone calls promptly and was right on time. He arrived at 10 and was finished by 3 or 3 3:30. He left the area nice and clean. As he was pulling out of the driveway, I was testing the garage door and there was a glitch in it going up and down and he noticed it as he was pulling out and came right back. He made an adjustment in our door opener and all is fine. I would highly recommend Premier Garage door.

Called Sean for service on one of the garage doors that had a broken
spring. He showed up on the day and time he said he would be here.
Made the necessary repairs to correct the problem. Checked to make sure
the door was working properly. Also I asked him to check the cables on
the other garage door and he said they where fine. Very happy with
the work he did.

Sean was caught on another job for a lot longer then he thought, but he kept in touch with me. He still made it to my house rather then calling and rescheduling which many businesses do all to often nowadays. Sean worked and replaced both springs and cables and was pleasant even though the day was long.

Sean showed up as scheduled. He evaluated the door and discovered it was a commercial door. He explained that it is a much heavier door than a residential door and we would need to install heavier springs. (that is probably why the springs from 2004 failed) He made calculations based on the size and weight of the door, installed, and balanced the springs the door worked flawlessly. I was in the middle of installing a garage door opener he completed the installation for me for only an additional $30.
Sean was a great guy, nice, prompt, professional.

New doors look great. Sean tested everything including the electrical opener before leaving. Everything works perfectly.
Was punctual, responsive and worked hard to get everything done.
Didn't list the price but was comparable with other quotes received for similar doors.

I called to schedule service on my garage door which had suddenly stopped working properly. He happened to be in the area that day and said he would stop by later in the day within a certain time frame. He showed up exactly when he promised. (These days it's a rare pleasure to find someone who is respectful of your time.)
After a few minutes of troubleshooting he showed me the parts that needed replacing. He had all the needed parts in his truck and after discussing options, replaced them in short order. Garage door is now working perfectly!
Additionally, I had been researching a set of new garage doors to replace the old ones that are showing signs of wear (hence the service call.) He spent a lot of time reviewing all the doors he had available. Very patiently answered all my questions without any high-pressure sales. I'll definitely be using him in the near future to replace both doors.

Everything went fine. He came out right away on a Saturday to take a look at our opener. He came back first thing Monday morning and did the job. The installation was good and the door is quieter than it has ever been.
