He came promptly to give us an estimate after I initially called. I then had to make repeated calls to get him to respond and come do the work. He and his crew came on a rainy day, they worked hard all day and nearly completed the project. I was not there the next day but did see that they completed it. It rained for days and days afterward, the grass was coming in and we were careful not to walk on the lawn. When we were able to walk on the lawn I found that it was quite uneven and very sponge like. I called Eric, he sent his son over to put down more grass seed, which addressed only part of the problem. I have repeatedly called and have either received no call back or been told he would come by soon. He did not. My last exchange with him was this weekend when I received both a voice message and an email telling me that he came by, thinks the lawn is great and doesn't understand what I am talking about. I don't know if he walked on the lawn, but if so he would have noticed immediately that it is hard to walk on. I asked for a lawn and just assumed he understood that a I meant a smooth surface covered with grass....I didn't think I need to explain. He also neglected to apply weedkiller before putting down mulch which he said he would do.He substituted bushes without consulting with me. I didn't get what I asked for or what I paid for.
