They were fantastic all the way. They recommend it. I talked to them, they knew all the different models. They came and inspected the sleeve, the chimney liner thing and they had to redo the hearth because it wasn't big enough to meet the code anymore, which is a good thing because some of the sparks reach out. The workers were really professional. The one guy was from Portugal, he was like a craftsman. He did such a beautiful job and they cleaned up. I really appreciate that. When they redid the hearth and the stuff is crumbling down to the basement, from the old brick that they had to take out. The operation of this thing has been fantastic. They first came out to measure September and then they ended up installing it October. There were some delays from the manufacturer because it's custom built, the front part. That was beyond their control. They actually hand make it for each fireplace. So you know you're going to get the fit, but then, you've got to wait for them to actually cast it or whatever. They also took care of the building permit. There had to be a building permit and there had to be an inspection. So they took care of that stuff, which was also good. It wasn't cheap. But then, my feeling always is, I want to pay for the highest quality that is going to last and be the most energy efficient. That is my goal here, I'm trying to cut my carbon footprint as much as possible. So I would rather invest in something that is going to last and be the best. This is supposed to be as efficient as a gas furnace as far as the flues, according to the EPA. So I don't feel guilty about burning wood. You do smell the smoke stuff. It has a fan, a reburner and it has got a catalytic converter in it. I have recommended it to neighbors.
