Five Star Painting provides interior painting, exterior painting and accompanying services. We are licensed, insured and EPA lead certified with a two-year workmanship warranty. Hands-on owner, Mark Mandel, is your point of contact for all steps of the project. In addition, a full time foreman is always on site to manage an experienced painting crew held to high standards of workmanship, respect and punctuality. The owner was very responsive and always professional- from my initial online inquiry through final completion of the project. He provided a clear and concise written estimate less than 24 hours of coming out. Pricing was competitive with other contractors that we received estimates. The crew did an excellent job on all aspects of the project (our home is from 1925 and they took great care in surface prep which made the walls and ceilings look like new).We are very satisfied with the results and would 100% recommend Five Star Painting.

Mark Mandel was courteous, punctual and very fair in his estimate of the cost of painting. He was easily reachable and a pleasure to work with because of his flexibility with our schedule and vice-versa and his telling us in advance when his men would be coming to our home to work. Our experience with the vast majority of contractors is the exact opposite. I heartily recommend ProTect Painters.

Well pleased with work done. Workers were very polite & repaired several additional "problem areas" they came across without additional charge! Be sure to include them in your exterior estimates.
Description of Work: Prep & paint exterior. Including fence, all exterior windows, replaced several rotting window sills, repair & stain deck.

Mark and team at ProTect of Summit did a great job on my dining room. The room previously had textured paint and the ProTect crew was able to apply a skim coat to restore the wall to a smooth finish. In addition, the team constructed brand new wainscoting that looks phenomenal! After all prep work was completed, the room was painted. The ProTect team ensured the jobsite was clean at the end of each day. Communication with Mark was easy via email. I would happily use ProTect of Summit again on future jobs.

It was a great experience. I was impressed with how professional Mark was. He did everything he said he was going to, he did the work on time and the quality was excellent. It took them three days to complete the painting. We received multiple quotes and they were comparable in their pricing.

The work was incredible least intrusive. They were in and out of the premises before you know it. They left the work place clean with no evidence of paint or clutter. What was promised was what they delivered. If I had another project to paint my interior rooms, if will have no hesitation on calling them back. Awesome team!!!
Description of Work: Power wash the entire outer sidings. Scrape loose and peeling paint. Wire brush iron grills and apply rust oleum and paint over it. Replace and repair window shutters. Paint all doors and gutters. Apply 2 coats of Benjamin Moore paint on the entire sidings. Remove dead vines sticking on the brick sidings.

Mark and his crew did an amazing job. I had another estimate and they just scanned the rooms and gave an estimate. Mark measured and asked about details that I hadn't thought of, like painting insides of closet doors, and even got up on a ladder to inspect a crack in the ceiling. His crew was punctual and got right to work. The did a great job, cleaned up, and even rehung a large mirror for me. I would use them again and I recommend them to everyone.
