Five Star Painting of Summit

Mark of Five Star Painting came to our home to look at our front door which was not in good condition due to poor prior refinishes. He recommended that after sanding and staining, a marine varnish should be used. He was right based on my online research. The door looks great and refinish should look good for many years. Mark, Paulo and Luis were easy to work with and responded to all of my questions. Also the price was reasonable. Further, Mark and Paulo came to our home several times during the project to check on the progress. What more could I ask. I highly recommend Five Star Painting.

In addition to house painting, Five Star was able to powerwash and stain the deck and fence and do some carpentry work. Having one company handle everything was much easier and more economical. Workers were polite and professional and did great work. Highly recommended.

They painted structural steel beams supporting the concrete roof of my garage. They did a good job of rust removal, and applied two coast of the primer. The work was clean, quick, and as agreed by contract.

The job was done in a timely fashion, clean up was done every day and there was no loud radio music. The men were courteous. This is my second year with Five Star and Mark. I assume it will be a long, happy work experience. ð

They respond quickly to concerns or questions and were just so easy to work with. I have an old house that had buckling plaster walls. They are now smooth and the walls looks just great. I could't have asked for more.

Very thorough and timely work

Mark came on time. His workers were thorough and did a nice job. They cleaned up well after the job.

Mark and his team were great. We got a few quotes and they were very reasonable in terms of cost and provided a discount for paying with a check. I thought Mark had the best follow through and was the most professional and reliable out of everyone we spoke with. He was constantly in touch with both my husband and I throughout the whole process. His painters were overall good and had a very positive attitude. The only negative is that my husband and I had to supervise a lot of the work in terms of asking the team where to fix or touch things up. Partially because of this, the team went over their time estimate and rushed a bit at the end - this made them less efficient, causing some additional work. Overall thou, it was a difficult job, the team was very patient as we have plaster walls and I don’t think there were many other painters that could deliver what they did for the cost. Our house looks 90% better than it did before the paint job!
