Suburban Furniture & Mattress

I have to say at first it didn't go well at all. I made my choices at the store, but didn't want to buy it right then, since this is the first store I looked at for the day. After returning home I decided to call up and place my order. I made sure to look up on the website the exact model and name of the pieces I wanted. I called up and spoke to the salesman I had seen at the store and explained what I wanted to buy. I told him what I thought the final price was and he agreed. They were having a sale in which they pay the tax, but they figure it out in a very convoluted way. Well he told me he was going to mail my receipt to me and then I could call up for delivery. I also told him to mail it to a different address then where the furniture was being delivered. Well it took him about a week to mail my receipt. By then I had checked my credit card and noticed he had charged me the wrong amount. He had charged me for furniture protection which I didn?t want. He then said he would refund me a certain amount but ended up shorting me a few dollars. I call the store and spoke with someone there who kindly helped me out. I then set up time of delivery, but when they delivered the furniture they only delivered the chest of drawers, not the dinette set. This was the last straw and I asked to speak with the salesman?s manager. I spoke with the manager, and listed all of the problems I had had. I explained to him that where the furniture was being delivered I didn?t live at the moment and that it was a big hassle to wait five hours and find out the both pieces where not being delivered. I was extremely disappointed that no one had told me that both pieces where not being delivered together. To top it off the chest of drawers had a defect in it. To make a long story short I asked him to refund the delivery charge (which he did) and do something about the defect. They ended up doing an even exchange and delivering the dinette set at the same time, so it worked out in the end.
