STANDARD TILE ROXBURY CORP

The tiles had to be ordered. After initially being told by one of the employees that I had until a certain date and time of the week to order the tile and ensure timely delivery, I later placed the order by that date only to be told that I had been misinformed of the day and had missed the cutoff and the tiles would now be delayed. Naturally this became a problem because I had scheduled the install to begin by a certain date with my contractor.
Fast forward to receiving the tiles... The order was short a box of tiles, and bag of grout. They apparently never charged me for the grout so no big deal, the tile however was charged and paid for. The missing tile now had to be re-ordered and would again take a few days to receive, not good when your contractor has other jobs pending and needs to wrap your job up. When the tile finally came in, they wanted to charge me shipping AND charge me AGAIN for the tile that I had already paid for. I remind you that the order was short the box of tile through no fault of my own.
Quality of the tile - We picked out some rather expensive and higher end (in comparison to the other in store samples) so we were rather dismayed to find what look like rust colored stains in several of the tiles. These noticeable stains cannot be removed, they arent mold, they arent rust, they arent paint, no idea what they are but after trying several cleaning agents and abrasives the stains remain. We contacted the store to inquire about what this could be and his best guess was possibly a problem with the porcelain tile glazing at time of manufacture, he then followed up by stating that there was nothing he could do and proceeded to lay blame on my contractor saying he should've inspected each tile individually and caught any defects and imperfections.

Pasquale and Connie were AMAZING... helpful, patient and spent as much time with me as I needed to choose the tile I wanted for my kitchen back splash, I came back several times.... changed my mind several times and they never lost their patience with me. They helped me choose the right grout, the right accent pieces, they were phenomenal! They even answered my husbands questions about a mishap that occurred with tile from a previous job, offered a product to fix it and gave it to him AT NO CHARGE!!! Unbelievable service I wold definitely use them again!

The tiles ordered came in on time and exactly as ordered.
