PRIDE BUILDING ASSOCIATES

In late Oct/early Nov of 2008, we contacted Pride Building Associates to give us an estimate on having an extension to our porch built. The front or our house was very asymmetrical, with an enclosed porch spanning approximately two-thirds the length of the frontage, and a set up steps leading up from the driveway. David Kolb from Pride Building came out and within about 20 minutes drew up the initial design for the house addition. The job took about 8 days, start to finish, but we had some problems with the township getting the zoning request through. So, the job actually started in mid-January 2009, during some of the coldest weather we've had in NJ in quite some time. Not only did they persevere through the cold (and I had encouraged them to stay home), they did a fantastic job. They didn't disappear for days at a time, but rather stayed on the job until it was done. As soon as we got a break in the cold, they sent their painter out, who finished up that day. The porch looks great, and it's like the whole front of the house got a facelift. They were very professional, thoughtful, and overall great guys to work with. Also, they were on time every day, even though they were coming up from Stone Harbor to the Jersey suburbs of Philly.
