Spinello Appliance Service

My call was answered and the repairman was able to come a week later. He arrived when he said he would. He replaced the rollers and belt in my dryer, and left the old parts and some dirt for me to clean up. When I used the dryer after that, the original noise was no longer happening, but there was a new very loud sound. I called back and he came the next day. He said it needed a new rubber seal and a new felt ring. He did not catch this during the first repair because there was nothing in the dryer (no weight) when he tested it. He had to order the parts, and came back 5 days later to install them. Again, there was dirt for me to clean up.
Other than the cleanup and the need for the extra visit, I was very satisfied. He was reliable, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem. The price seemed okay. He did not charge me for the second and third visits, he only charged me for the additional part.

I called Spinello Appliance Service late Thursday afternoon, they returned my call that evening, and were able to come to repair the machine at noon on Saturday. They were polite, prompt, and rpofessional.. The service representative knew exactly how to open the back of the machine to retrieve the jar lid, closed it back up, and checked to see that the machine was operating properly. He noticed that the vent duct leading to the outside was very old and he replaced it with new duct material without charge. The charge was based on a service call charge of $69.95 plus $30 for labor. I was satisfied with the work and would call them again for repairs to this or other major appliances in my home.

Our dryer had started to overheat, and stop. Mr. Spinello was able to diagnose it over the phone, came over within a few days with the correct part and had the dryer up and running in no time. He was polite, patient, professional and didn't mind talking to me and answering my questions. I hope I don't need to get his services again, but if my large appliances fail again he will be the first phone call. Why waste money on an extended warranty?
