Our old home had a mix of knob and tube and 1050's wiring. Dan, from Viking Electric, helped walk us though re-wiring parts easily accesible, making a plan to re-wire the rest and making sure all was safe while we went through the process. He also rewired our front porch and installed outdoor celing fans, installed dimmers, and numerous lights and updated our fuse box. I trust him completely, he consistently returns calls, shows up when scheduled, takes the time to explain what is needed, and balances cost and what needs to be done. He was my go to electrician when we lived in New Jersey.

It was fine with Viking Electric for electrical, it was fine, yes. For what we had done, I spent about 300 dollars and so, considering the work that had to be done was quite reasonable. I had no complaints. His work was, everything was pretty much what we wanted. I did call a couple of other places before I called this gentleman. I never got a response from any of them. I think I may have got him online, I am not sure about that. He was the only one that responded. Even if he charged a little bit more than what actually was, the fact that he contacted me, got back to me and was prompt, the possible difference in what the true cost would have been and what he charged, I wouldn't care, very honestly. Promptness is something that appeals to us, people who call back when they say, that appeals to us. I really do appreciate that. Of all those locations, I remember thinking that probably this guy was the closest, physically to where we live, which is, I think, why we tried him first. He came through and I feel that for us that's very, very important.
