Answered my call. Took my order. Delivered as promised. Left a bill for the amount we agreed on which was $125/cord. They did not charge delivery because I was willing to wait 1-4 weeks until they had a job out my direction. I waited about 2 weeks.

The Timber Tailors met their commitment on date and time, were punctual, efficient and highly professional.
This was not a simple task. 100' unstable ash tree held upright by the entanglement of its topmost branches with adjoining trees and
within 30' of our house. Not only did The Timber Tailors efficiently remove the tree, working quickly but very safely, but did so without any damage to the shrubs and flower beds beneath. Every section of the tree was lowered by rope in a controlled manner and so the lawn experienced no damage whatsoever. The trunk was cut into lengths suitable for firewood splitting and neatly stacked. All branches and foliage were shredded and removed from the site. The cleanup was thorough and extensive, leaving practically no sign of their work. I highly recommend their services.

I contacted Timber Tailors mainly to remove a large limb that had cracked and was hanging over the street next to my house. I decided to have some tree branches trimmed away from the house at the same time. Rich came out the next day (a Friday) and gave me a quote, which was acceptable so I asked him to schedule the work. I told him I was worried about the hanging limb falling on a car or a person walking on the street. Even though they had a busy schedule, they were at my house early Monday morning and did all the work. Everything looked great. All the trimming debris was raked and removed as well as the large limb. I was extremely happy with Timber Tailors work, price and promptness. I will definitely be using their services again.

Excellent. Rich came out to the property and showed up on time. BTW- I contacted two other contractors in western Morris County area and they were so backed up with work that I could not even get them out to see the job! We walked around and I stated what needed to be done: more sunlight and air circulation on the house. He made recommendations as to what should be done to meet those requirements and to work within a budget. He also seemed very knowledgeable about trees and they advertise as "NJ Approved Arborist"which I believe to be accurate. Rich mailed me a detailed contract a few days later and when I requested referrences, he mailed those out without hesitation. It did take a few weeks from the time I mailed the contract with the deposit until the work began, due to their busy work schedule. They did the work on different days (due to their schedule) but once complete Timber Tailors made sure I was satisified with the job. They especially accommodated some my concerns I had at the end. They were very reliable. They give you an estimate, but don't hound you. They care about trees and are certified arborists. It is a family owned business. They did a nice job and got everything cleaned up nicely.
