We have been using Coraggio Brothers for many years now, and they are the best. When we noticed water leaking through the dining room wall during a shower on the afternoon of new year's eve, we knew we had trouble. Our house was built in the late 19th century so the plumbing is old and these things happen. Kevin came out within two hours to size up the job, and he fixed it on Saturday morning when the plumbing supply store was open to get the parts. Excellent work as always: clean, competent, and punctual. They are the best!

Perhaps the best aspect is the unmatched responsiveness whether it is an almost immediate return call or a prompt visit in an emergency. Joe Coraggio is a true gentleman and professional. They made an effort to squeeze me in since needed to determine if break in line for other contractor work. Ran under driveway, so a bit of a challenge to snake it. Husband glad did not try on own. Able to clear it, although clear there was an issue with it mid point and trouble to keep clear.

Kevin came on time. He took the time to look at each issue and answer all my quesitons - even those that were speculative about possible renovations. He suggested a cheap fix rather than the full repair for an issue saving me about $300! He was patient, honest and genuinely nice. Highly recommend.

The plumber arrived walked me through the job and provided an estimate. The job was completed in a timely manner and it appears very well done.
The plumber notified me of an important issue that may need to be addressed in the future. This particular item is not something Coraggio Brothers services. So, he obviously had his client's best interest in-mind. I also requested some additional work on HVAC system that Coraggio Brothers does not perform (non-boiler related). A day or two later a received a call from the owner(?) telling me that he was reviewing the job notes and noticed that I needed a referral to a forced-air HVAC technician. Now that is thorough!

We discovered water in the basement around midnight - small puddles near the washing machine. As it was not an active problem, it was not what I would describe as an emergency. I had a phone call into Coraggio's by 8am the next morning (thinking it was a problem with a washing machine). By 8:30am I had a phone call back from Joe Coraggio diagnosing what he thought to be the problem (given my limited description and plumbing knowledge). He indicated that he would have someone out by the afternoon. By 1:30 p.m. (with a phone call a half hour ahead of arrival) I had a plumber in my basement diagnosing the problem (I was wrong - the sewer was backing up) and he was on his way to snaking the line clean. It took about 2 1/2 hours to complete. No mess with peace of mind at the end of it. The plumber kept me involved in the process and showed/explained what was going on each step of the way.
I was quoted a price before actual work began and it came out a little less (a little high, but worth it). Highly recommend Coraggio's.
