We didn't pass the first inspection.The owner never checked to see if things were done correctly and we ended up failing our inspection. He should have checked everything over when the work was finished. The bedroom outlets were actually installed on the outside of the rooms. They fixed one, but never fixed the other. Make sure if you you use this company you check to see if all the work is done before you pay them because they will not return your calls.

An agreement was made that the contractor, Jimmy, would apply for the permit and that I would be responsible for the permit fees.  When the contract was signed, he stated that would go ahead and initiate the work that same day and would apply for the permit at a later time.  He installed the panel which took up most of the day and upon completion of his work, I advised him that there were electrical wires that were not hooked up to the panel.  These wires were pre-existing and advised him that I would pay him extra for taking care of these problems, in which he agreed to do at a later time.  He was paid cash in the amount of $1400 and stated that the $300 would be collected after it had passed inspection.  A week and a half had gone by and at which time I attempted to contact him on his cell but were unable to leave a message due to his voicemail box being full.  I again attempted to contact Jimmy on the second week to find out when he would complete the work pertaining to the electrical wires not being hooked up and again were not able to leave a message due to the voice mail being full.  I then contacted the township building department to check the status of the permit and at which time I was informed that NO PERMIT was applied by the contractor.  I then contacted Service Magic and they too were unable to contact him by phone.  The Service Magic rep. stated that she would email the contractor and advise him to contact me. A few hours later, Jimmy contacted me and stated that he did apply for the permit and blamed it on the township building dept.  He stated that he would re-apply for the permit, that same day, and would complete the remaining work needed to pass inspection.  Jimmy failed to live up to his agreement and at which time I terminated his services.  I had to hire another electrical contractor to complete the work, so that it would pass inspection.
