Ryland Electric is Prompt, Professional and Reliable. We strive to complete our projects in a timely manner, with quality installation and reasonable pricing. Ryland Electric is owned and operated by Ryan F. He has over 15 years experience in all phases of the electrical trade. He attended a 5 year apprentice program and graduated in the top of his class. Ryan began his Apprenticeship performing service and maintenance in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. As a Journeyman/Forman, Ryan often ran large projects for commercial and industrial contracts that included Powerhouses, NJ Transit, Assembly Lines, County, Federal and State Buildings, Schools, Daycare Centers, Banks, etc. Ryan has taken his years of experience and vast knowledge for the electrical field and operates his own business. Ryan looks forward to bringing his clients prompt service at reasonable prices with professional quality. Ryland Electric is properly licensed, bonded and insured in the state of New Jersey.

BEWARE. Did not show up. Not professional. Once I accepted their proposal, they ghosted. Thank goodness I never sent the initial payment. You have been warned.

Absolutely horrendous people. The job they did was so unprofessional, I had to get another company to do it right. Apparently Ryan has a unique view on latino laborers-you should ask him.

Ryan and team were punctual, professional and polite. His craftsmanship was great and he and his team were more than willing to take them time to explain to me what and why they were doing. During the quote phase, he was helpful and patient understanding what it was exactly that I wanted to get done and doing it for as cheap as possible.

It went great. Ryan and his crew arrived bright and early to complete our upgrade. He told us that we would be without electric for the full day and because of the scope of the job it may not be totally completed until the next day. He installed a new box with additional amps. Several of my room hardly had any outlets so he added outlets to those rooms. He also added two dedicated lines for each of the air conditioners. In the kitchen he added a counter outlet which I love, I no longer have to use an extension cord when using my little appliances. The best part was that he completed the upgrade all in one day. We were having problems with the line kicking off because of the overload, that problem has now been corrected with Ryan's outstanding upgrade.
Also, he gave me an estimate to have recessed lighting added to my kitchen which has poor lighting. I'll be under contract shortly to get that completed. I would recommend them to all.

The electrician was on time and helpful. We reviewed the few light switches needing to be replaced and asked if he could replace a thermostat. I purchased three or four digital switches and thermostat to be managed wirelessly. The electrician spent hours working on this and couldn't get this to work. The electrical boxes were too small, two way switches too difficult, and missing a wire for the thermostat. Then I spoke to his boss and said they need to charge me extra because of the time additional time spent. This deal started at $223 but I paid more than that.
The electrician was great but this deal sucked. I would rather get a quote and actual assessment that the work can be done properly. In these deals the provider is rushed and under pressure to work quickly.
I am off these Angie List deals. Nothing goes right.

The work they provided was very professional. They did everything we needed, solved problems along the way, suggested improvements and did everything with high quality work. They were always punctual. Cleaned up everything when they were finished. Everyone we dealt with from the office to the electrician doing the work was pleasant, friendly, responsive and professional. They were great.

The communication from Ryland's office was complete and responsive, and Steve the electrician showed up exactly when they said he would. A very nice, amiable fellow who did a great job swapping out old outlets and switches in the house. Will definitely use Ryland again!

Provider was on time, friendly, expert, thorough. Could have just replaced the outlets, but re-did the grounding wire, stabilized the box and receptacle, and replaced some really old and deteriorating wire.
He was also really nice to my dog!
Provided a quote to do some additional work and was very honest about the things that are real safety risks and the things that would be "smart to do" but not urgent.
Will invite back to to some more work.

Ryan, Steve and Jay did an excellent job. They did the panel upgrade on the date it was contracted for and at the price quoted. They worked well as a team and besides getting the service up and running in approximately 5 hours as promised, they were eager to please and cleaned up when the job was complete. Cynthia, who I spoke with when I called the office, also suggested slim high output light fixtures for our basement. She emailed me three options and we are glad they were installed in addition to the coach light. Not only were they able to fit me into their schedule, but they performed extra emergency work for me as well. They were very professional and courteous. The work was excellent and I would highly recommend this company to everyone. They are reasonably priced and the workers were very friendly. Jay and Steve went above and beyond the call duty - more than what I expected or what I could have asked for. They even stayed after hours until the job was completed and to my satisfaction. I will be using this company anytime for my electrical needs. Jay and Steve were outstanding!

He is always prompt. If he is scheduled for 8 he'll show up at 745 and wait outside until 8. He's a very dependable and trustworthy guy. I can rely on him to do the work correctly. He's very neat too. I've price checked a few other electricians some cost more and some were cheaper, but I didn't get a good feeling with them. I highly recommend him.

We are extremely happy with them and use them all the time. They are very clean. They don't charge high prices. While they were here once the technicians found a better solution that ended up being cheaper. That is always helpful.

Freak oct. 30,2011 snowstorm: electric cable from pole across street snapped - JCP&L advised they wouldn't touch home, "get ur own electrician". Ryland - who had upgraded our Electric Panel earlier that year very professionally and at very competitive price- came over twice and did the job in time for the rescue crews from Ohio to reattach the cable and end the 7 day power for us!!!

They did a great job, and I absolutely loved them. The electricians presents were very good. They were efficient, and worked with us very well. They were also working on a Mcdonalds that was quite large along while working on our house, and they still did a fantastic job.
