Jon Pelle Wood Floor Designs

John Pelle repaired a job done by another company. Jon Pelle hand finished my kitchen floor which is a beautiful custom floor design, comprised of wood pickets in a diamond shape with a tile in the middle. The floor had been seriously gouged and the color and finish wrecked by the other company. Jon also resanded and refinished the familyroom floor, which was also installed by the other company, who put in white oak flooring instead of red oak, so there that there was no way it could match the red oak in the kitchen. We had a terrible mess. Jon saved us. I cannot say enough good things about him. Thank God for Jon Pelle. He's an artist. He's fairly priced, has incredible creative ability for staining floors. His finishes are so beautiful and the wood comes alive. When you have a bad contractor you have to be an expert yourself. But with a contractor like Jon, you need to know nothing. He's an expert, he knows what finishes to use to create beauty, but that wear like iron. His work is impeccable and he's nice, reasonable and honest. I call him the 'floor guy to the stars". Jon has worked for many celebrities and he's the floor guy of choice to designers and architects. Jon is a find - don't use anyone else. End result on the family room floor where the other company wrongly installed white oak instead of red oak: Jon tinted the finish so the white oak blended with the adjacent red oak floor and I can live with it and decide later on if I want to spend the money to put in a whole new floor (red oak of course).
