Beck Brothers Heating and Cooling

Took check for $101.29 stating HVAC had been serviced and working properly on 30-Oct-2019. Has failed to respond to my multiple phone calls or email. Submitted complaint to BBB.

I've used Beck Brothers a few times over the past few seasons for oil furnace service. They show up at the scheduled time and do great work.

Scott replaced our ancient oil-fired boiler with a new oil boiler and separate electric hot water heater. Once we decided to move forward, Scott scheduled our install promptly and finished the work within one day. We're very happy with our new boiler and water heater. I would recommend Scott to anyone.

I am very pleased with this company.  The service technician, Chet was professional, competent, polite and helpful.  He did a thorough job on my air-conditioner unit and got it ready for the summer. The price was fair.  I will definitely use Beck Brothers Heating and Cooling again, and I highly recommend them.

We have no complaints at all.  When they came in for estimate, he suggested a few options.   Price was fair, and once we agreed they came in 4 days later and completed project in 2 days.  Everything works perfectly.  They were very neat, cleaned up each day and left the place cleaner than it was.  We highly recommend Becks!

We ran out of oil. Delivery was scheduled for next day. Put diesel fuel in meantime but boiler would not turn on. Called them and they responded promptly. Within 3 hours they came, they saw the issue and got the heat going. I'll definitely use them again.

We had a heating pipe leak underneath our house which flooded our finished basement. Upon realizing this, I immediately called Beck Brothers and Scott came to the house within the hour and cut off the water supply to stop the leaking. His office was great in working with the insurance adjuster and getting the right paperwork needed for our claim. Once that was all final, he showed up on time and finished the work as planned.

Boiler would not ignite after my empty oil tank was refilled. Beck Brothers had all positive reviews on Angieslist.com and therefore was a no-brainer to give them a shot. After a 1pm call, Scott arrived by 4pm to perform the necessary
service. Sludge from the tank bottom clogged the oil filter. He had the replacement filter with him and I had heat 15 minutes later. The office of Beck Brothers handled all communications including a 20 minute pre-show phone call.
I will be using Beck Brothers for any future HVAC related concerns and recommend that you do too!

I called Beck Brothers in the morning of the 9th, and Scott was at my house early that evening to make the repairs. One burst pipe was easy to find, and the second one he found in no time at all. The whole repair took about 2 hours. I found Scott to be very polite, competent, quick (without rushing), and his prices are fair. I would definitely use this service again. Most HIGHLY recommended.

Fastest appointment <30 hrs from call. Professional, quality of materials excellent and cost was very good. Beck Brothers were on their second job for me and they were great for both. They had prior fixed my AC outside unit and it worked all summer perfectly. I highly recommend them.

II was very pleased with this company. Scott Ehlbeck has installed new Mini-split A/C unit in
my home. He was very punctual, prompt, courteous and took the time to explain the system.

The first few days after my husband and I moved into our new house, we were having uncharacteristically rainy and cold weather for NJ in the beginning of June. We had no reason to turn on the AC. Then my parents came into town to help us settle in, and of course this crazy NJ weather went to the opposite end of the spectrum: 85-90 and super-humid on the days when we were working our butts off unpacking, cleaning, doing yard work, etc. By Saturday morning, it was obvious our AC was NOT working. Being new to the area, we had no idea who to call, so I started dialing everyone on Angie's List. Here I was, calling around on a Saturday morning trying to find someone who could come out that same day for a reasonable amount of money...I struck out a lot of times before I found Scott Ehlbeck of Beck Brothers; he ended up being our knight in shining armor! He came out within a few hours to fix our AC, he was super-nice, AND he gave us some great tips on ways to save money through energy audits and shopping oil suppliers (as first time home buyers, we're clueless!). At the end of the day, another HVAC guy I had called earlier that morning returned my phone call. He asked how much Scott had charged me; when I told him, he said, "That's a good deal. For a last minute Saturday call on a hot day like this, that's a very fair price."

Fast on returning your call. Called gave a time they would be there. Called when they where on there way. Did the repair cleaned up and everything was O K.

Then they showed me how I could get a $5,000 rebate from Elizabethtown Gas and an interest free 10 year loan from Clean Energy of NJ. I basically got the system for free.
