.though the week was hot and wet, Sal , Mark and Sal's two sons showed up on Monday morning like they said and went to work. had to jack up roof to remove a corner post and then supported roof with 4 supports. Broke up the old concrete pad and removed same from job site. Second day, went to work replacing top row of blocks on the foundation, put on scratch coat on inside and outside of new block and started to fill and tamp the stone brought in to get it up to level. Wednesday, did some more fill and tamping then installed the forms for the new concrete. Thursday was a wash out, but Friday morning the guys showed up for the pour. Three wheelbarrows bringing a constant supply from the truck to the site. This is a townhouse community and everything was brought back by hand, the rest of day was spent on clean up and finishing the pad, Saturday was the finish coat of parget, replacing the post to support the roof and removing temp supports and clean up of job site. Everyone from S&J did everything to protect my neighbors property that they had to cross with no mess anywhere. All were polite and respectful not only to me but to all involved. I couldn't have asked for a better job or crew, it was a great experience.
