N&K Tile Installation & Home Improvement

The tile company I got the tile from gave me his contact. The installer's name was George Araujo. He was good. He told me that he does home improvement as well. He was upset that I didn't call him before I called the other company. He told me he could have renovated it. He could have torn the whole bathroom down a lot cheaper than the original estimate from my original contractor. He thought the other company was charging me quite a bit for the bathroom refinish. When you call his number you really get him. I think he is self-employed. He did the work before the other people came out. I thought it was going to be cheaper and that he was just going to put it over the old tile. He had to remove the old tile that was there for 40 years. When he came to look at the floor, he looked at my commode and told me that I should change it as well when I was refinishing my bathroom. I gave him $300.00 and he went and bought me a real top of the line commode which was waiting there for the other people to install. He removed the old commode so he could put down the new tile. He really did a lot of work. He was a very nice hardworking guy. He did it all by himself and very fast. It just took him one day to do all the work. He came on Sunday morning and did the grout. He was very good. When I went to the tile company to ask them if they knew someone who could install the tile for me, they told me to contact him and said he was an energetic young guy. He came when I called him and gave me an estimate. He wanted to coordinate with the other company. When the other company came to measure everything, I had them call him. They told him to put down the tile first. Since they were coming on Monday, they asked him if he could do it on Saturday and he was fine with that. He was very accommodating.
