HERON'S TREE SERVICE

Had a older maple that started dropping big limbs near the house. From initial quote to job completion Heron's Tree Service was excellent. They communicated efficiently from coming out to quote the job through coming to do it, which was weather dependent. Jim, Ron and his crew were not only efficient, but took great care of moving my property that was in their way (and putting it back!), cleaning up and leaving a minimal footprint. I would highly recommend and would hire them again.

A spring noreaster uprooted an ancient white oak and sent it crashing through the house. Jim Heron responded immediately and managed the immense project to remove the tree from the structure using a 40 foot crane. He and his crew were knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate throughout the entire process, reassuring homeowners every step of the way. Jim was always available and communicated every stage of the process and ensured the job was clean and complete. Excellent work!

They moved all the yard items that needed to be moved to get access to the tree and then put everything back in its place. Since there was limited access for machines there was a lot of manual labor. The job only took 1.5 days. They were punctual, responsive and professional. Before establishing a start date they called daily to give us a status of when they were able to start the job based on weather conditions so we were never in the dark wondering where we stood. Definitely one to use. I recommend them highly.

We've used Heron's Tree Service a few times. They cut up and took away all of the wood, which was huge. They did an excellent job. He's friendly, information and extremely safety-conscious and responsible. The limbs had grown out over my house and there could have been a lot of damage if they did it wrong. But they didn't. They were courteous to drive the tractor only across the edge of the property, so we didn't have tractor marks everywhere. They were responsible and thorough. They cleaned up well and didn't leave a lot of junk. They were punctual, on time and professional.

Jim was very responsive when we called for an estimate. He made time quickly and showed up on time. His estimate was about 30% less than the lowest bid I'd received at that point. He did the work well, we're very happy. Will definitely call again for tree work.
