Very well! He showed up several times during the construction of my disability ramp to plan out his part of the work. It was the end of the building season, we had ice and snow already-it could have derailed the final product, but Mike made sure he worked it so the project was a success! We made it just before the heavy frost came in. If you have a tight deadline and want a real hands on person - Mike Downes is the best!

Mike is great to work with. He is very professional and up front about everything. He did what he said he would do and it turned out great. I would highly recommend Mike for any masonry work.  JP

Terrific job! Porch looks fantastic! So many people have complimented us on the new porch. Mike and his son are perfectionists, hard working, always return calls, arrive early every day, and have a great attitude. There were no hidden costs, the job progressed exactly as promised, and stayed on time. We could not be happier with the results.

Everything went great the work was completed in the time frame I requested. I would highly recommend Downes Construction for any bathroom remodels.

Excellent, excellent job. Would definitely use Mike again and would highly recommend. I needed to get this repair done (quickly) for the sale of a home and had no idea who to call. Found Downes Construction on Angies List. Got a few estimates and very glad I chose Downes Construction. I found Mike to be very honest and very reliable. He offered suggestions - which proved to be helpful, but was not pushy at all. Price, I thought was reasonable and matched estimate. Answered or returned all calls promptly. Mike worked with my schedule to get this done in time for my closing date. He worked in the 90+ degree heat with no complaints. I was extremely impressed by the quality of work and loved that all debris really was removed - he left it extremely neat. Quality work, honest, reliable - what more can you ask for? I would highly recommend.

We were walked through the permitting process which was great since we did not have the experience for that. Work commenced as scheduled. Job site kept clean and neat as the debris was taken away. The porch as rebuilt and the brick and stone steps applied. The board between the old porch and the house had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. New flashing was applied and then a long lasting material applied. We were happy that that the Company had the skill to do it. Final inspection was scheduled.

Not only was the work fantastic, but we were guided towards the materials that made the porch and steps really more than we thought we could have. Would recommend them hightly.
