I ordered it on the 15th (with 2 day delivery), spoke to them and was assured that it would be here by the17th or 18th. I told them it was a major Xmas present and that it HAD to be here by Wednesday the 22 as we were leaving. As no tracking # came up, I called on the 17th (25 minute wait on hold!). and was assured that it would be here. No tracking # and I called the next day, same story (same wait time on hold). Finally ON THE 22nd the camera apparently goes out, WITH A DELIVERY DATE of Dec 29 (a TWO DAY delivery had been paid for). I have to replace the present. If and when it arrives I will send it back unopened. Butterfly Photo is incompetent (at least on line) and they lie. Never do business with them.

We decided to upgrade a camera we ordered from Butterfly Photo 4 Nov and placed the request 27 Nov order. Since then, we've made 7 unsuccessful inquiries to get the new camera: - 2 Dec - Mailed the original camera back - 11 Dec - Had not received confirmation that the camera had arrived back to Butterfly Photo. That day, I spoke with Jason and he assured me he'd handle it personally and get back with me. He never did. - 15 Dec - Apparently the camera was located in the Claims dept because we missed sending the battery charger. Quite frustrated, I asked to speak with Danny the manager. Jason told me he spoke with him, the exchange was complete, and the camera was on the way. - 18 Dec - Still no shipment confirmation. Called again. Jason said the camera had shipped. - 20 Dec 1615 - Called again because there was no shipment confirmation on-line or via e-mail. Jason told me it was "guaranteed for Christmas". - 27 Dec 1200 - Spoke with Jason who told me he would be e-mailing Danny regarding this situation (since he was unavailable on Sunday). He told me I would hear back from Danny 28 Dec. He also provided what he said was Danny???s direct number. - 28 Dec 1400 - Had not heard from either one so called myself. The direct extension number Jason provided belonged to someone named Carina. I had to go back to the original recording and again asked to speak with Danny personally. Jason told me he was on the phone with another customer and would call me back in 15-20 minutes; he then told me I was in queue for Danny's return phone call. Danny never called. Jason also informed me the camera was shipped that day. Needless to say, at this point, I have no confidence in any information he provided. Unbelievably, no one has apologized for this entire debacle or attempted to make any amends.

I purchased my television from Butterfly Photo, over the web. They had the best price, on the TV that I wanted. It was an excellent experience. The TV came shipped with sensors, to ensure it did not tip on the way there. It arrived in perfect condition, a few days later. I would use them again.
