Josso Carpentry

We have had an aweful experience with Josso and are in process of taking him to court. If you are thinking of using him hold onto your wallet and don't give him money upfront. We hired him to do some major remodeling in our backyard that included our deck, paver patio, retaining wall and few other things. He is very personable guy and we thought he would do a good, hands on job. He gave us a competitive price if we paid him cash and made it seem like he would be working on the job with his men. To make a long story short he has 80% of our money and hasn't finished anything. Halfway thru he claimed he was out of money and that he underestimated the work. This is after we paid him an additional 5000 after we started the project which he assured us would be enough to cover the project. Whatever he did do was poorly done as we are finding out in speaking to other contractors as we try to complete the project next year. Unfortunately for us this was a classic contractor horror story. I think he had other clients as well who he took money from and never finished their work
