LUMBER LIQUIDATORS

It did not go well. As the photos show there are gaps on the underside of the stairs and several places where they did not complete the molding. There are also several places where the angles of the moldings are off. It has been over a month now. Keep in mind that we used both their product and their installer. They have had every opportunity along the way to correct these issues. There have been many promises made about completing the project. We have made four trips back to the store. No action, no resolution. There is more to the story but, just take a look at the photos.

Couldn't be happier with my new floors! The original flooring was left severely damaged due to a water leak from the previous owner and there was mold in some areas. I called multiple vendors for quotes and several kept cancelling last minute while all the others suggested installing the floor over the existing unlevel parquet and mold. Lumber Liquidators sent Albert who was the only person who showed up on time and had a plan that didn't involve leaving the mold. I also dealt with Rob at the store who set everything up and was extremely helpful with my order. They were able to get everything scheduled quickly and finished with plenty of time for a furniture delivery I had set up. Not only did they have the best plan for my floors, they also had the best price and service. I definitely will recommend to others!

It was basically just ordering and I went to pick it up. Our contractors installed it. The price was ok. It was pretty good compared to their competitors. They had a lot of selection so you could choose the level of quality and I'm pretty happy with the wood I got. When I got there, I had to wait a pretty long time. They weren't very attentive or expedient on waiting on customers. I kind of like to order my own stuff so I will probably use them again because they have a lot of products and the prices are pretty good. I had to order in advance and I think it took about a week for it to arrive. Then when I went in to pick it up it took about 30 - 40 minutes.

I was not happy with their service. The range of cost is great. The thing was, the wood itself or the price of the wood itself was in ardent. They did the math and said that “this is pretty cheap, this is pretty reasonable in quality”. But then, this is the house and what started out as $8000 job became a $10000/$11000 job because he said that we have to rip off the old floor. I felt that I am not going with his suggestion. My wife checked the internet and he there had been complaints about him. When you into their store, they give you one price. But when they come into your house, they suggest a million things.

The installation was expensive as well. I did not contract with them, we were just dealing with them up to the point where they were trying to sell me and we basically said no.

They came to the house when they said they would for the bid and they were on time.

All the things they did were wonderful. They were very knowledgeable in the store and the prices were reasonable. When they came out to my home, the gentlemen were very nice and clean. They were here on time and they didn't take a lot of time to install the floors. I didn't have any problems. They answered everything and everything was done very professionally. I highly recommend them for their price and knowledge ability. I referred them to my daughter and she was very pleased with their work.

I got this company from Angie's List and they gave me a good service. They've got an array of just about every wood possible, they've got everything there. They sell the wood and they install too. First of all you call them up and they send you a company. The company that came look at the job that need to be done and gave me a list of things that I needed to buy. I got the estimate of the labor and the estimate of the cost of the wood. I go to them and I'm committed at this time. I paid a $25 for these people to come over and gave me an estimate. They confirmed everything and they gave me exactly what I need and the measurements for the amount of work. They gave me everything and I bought them the materials.

We ripped out all our carpeting because of allergies and put in laminate floors. The floors are good but I don't know what they'll be like in the winter. The product is so much better than the others there is no comparison. They had much better pricing and I found them to be tremendous. The labor cost more than the floors. I thought their prices were good but they didn't have the molding I needed. I had to drive to Yonkers to get the molding. I would think if you sell the flooring you should also have the transition parts. They could have just been out of stock. Besides that, they were great. I had no problems with the salespeople or the people who loaded my truck. I bought the floors and had them installed within a week.

THEY WERE GOOD. THEY HAD WHAT I WANTED IN STOCK. THEY HAD WHAT I NEEDED. IT WAS A GOOD PRICE. THEY BEAT THE BIGGER GUYS. THEY WERE GOOD. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL. THEY CAME WITH THE MEASUREMENTS. THEY WERE LESS THAN HALF A BOX OFF. THAT'S HOW GOOD THE GUY WAS.
