Good,. Little expensive

When we bought a three-bedroom house, we were told the previous owners had considered central air conditioning but didn't want to spend $35K. We did get a proposal from another company, specifying one unit in the basement and one in the attic to cool the first and second floors respectively. Since we didn't want holes in our hardwood floors, there would have to be extensive ductwork in the first floor walls. The price was $35,550. We then realized that the compressors and heat exchangers were manufactured not by Carrier, Lennox, or Trane, but by the HVAC installer itself. We werenâ t about to spend $35K on a â house brandâ . Tim from GRC pointed out that we only needed a single unit in the attic. Ductwork could be run through closets to cool the first floor from vents in the ceiling. Only one small section of wall on the second floor would have to be opened and repaired. Total price for top-of-the-line Carrier variable-speed equipment: $23,020. The installation was as prompt and unobtrusive as we could have wished. Our A/C is so quiet only the cool air and the thermostat let us know itâ s on. We subsequently used GRC to install a gas-powered Generac power backup. Needless to say, we have recommended GRC to all who have asked.

GRC presented an honest appraisal of keeping a 20-year old a/c system vs. Installing a new one.I chose to have a system replacement (Carrier). GRC worked with my schedule, installed the new system over two days and explained key features of the new system. I was very impressed. Will contract them to maintain both my heating and cooling systems.

GRC and its representatives did a great job analyzing and evaluating our situation and recommending the solution which was ultimately decided upon and successfully installed. They did an excellent overall job.

Bit on the pricey side, but I had heating emergency because the blower motor burned out in the middle of the night. Got a call with in 10 mins and was able to schedule them to come out first thing in the morning. They relaced the motor by the end of the day.

Be careful what you wish for. I received a quote for the job and the job was done well. However, the "quote" turns out to be $120. Higher. First it was the part, then it was "Oh, there's the tax". THIS WAS AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS FIRST.

Called within 4 minutes of me hitting 'submit'. At our house within 30 minutes of my inquiry. The service manager and technician were both very personable and nice to work with. They forgot to provide a quote before quickly and competently making the repair. The cost of the repair took us by surprise but they remediated the situation to our satisfaction so all was well...this is the only reason I did not give them 5 on each category. We were very impressed with overall service and would definitely call again. The speed, professionalism and comfort of getting our furnace back on during a significant cold snap was priceless.

They called within a minute of my hitting send. They could not get out that day because of y schedule but were there the following morning at the exact time they said they would be. They helped me get electric heaters set up because my furnace had to be shut down due to high carbon monoxide readings. The sales rep was there that afternoon and worked with me on price. They promised to have the furnace in place within two days and were true to their word. Very professional, neat, polite, and efficient.I definitely would recommend them.

Overall, the serviceman was very nice and professional. I was given a time window of 2 hours from 2 to 4. The guy came a little after 4. I had to call the company to check on the status. Would have been nice if they proactively monitored appointments and let customers know when to expect servicemen to show up. My problem happened to be a burned gas ignitor. It's a small piece that can fit in a a child's palm and doesn't look anything complicated or expensive. The servicemen showed me in his book the replacement cost of about $425, outrageous. But he was nice to show me that the price for the

I was contacted with in 1 minute of hitting the send key. Although they couldn't come out that day do to time i submitted they did set an appointment for the following day at 8:00 am. They arrived as promised and proceeded to fix the problem. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and polite which in turn set my mind at ease. I had another contractor a few weeks earlier who couldn't hold a candle to these guys. In fact i was so impressed that i purchase a service contract. I highly recommend this company and already gave their name out to friends of ours. If only all contractors have their work ethics. Thanks a million!!!!
