+ -1 moreThey have coupons. They try to get you to buy filters and this and that, as long as you just say no to everything you get out with the $22 bucks. Otherwise, it’s “you need to change your transmission fluid, you need to do this, when’s the last time you did that?” It’s like any mechanic. It went well.

Description of Work: After reading about some past incidents with this company, I swore I would never go to another one of their franchises again. Last month, I realized that my car was almost overdue on an oil change. There was no time to make an appointment anywhere else. So, reluctantly, I took it to a Jiffy Lube location in East Meadow, NY that I had never used. I was pleasantly surprised. They didn't try to "upsell" or "bait an switch." They didn't scare me with all the things that might be wrong. Besides the lubrication, at my request, they replaced the engine air filter and the cabin air filter. I asked that they change the original windshield wipers which were on for 5000 miles. Was I shocked when a Jiffy Lube store told me that I didn't need the new wipers yet!! So, "giving the devil his due," I must state that Jiffy Lube in East Meadow did an excellent job!
