Goldys oil heat service

Steve from Goldys came to my house to give me an estimate for a new Steam Boiler. Another plumber (highly rated on Angies list) that I had used several times told me my boiler had cracked and NEEDED to be replaced. He also quoted me over $8000 to replace. I called Goldys and he told me over the phone the cost would be around $6000 but he needed to come check it out before he would give me a detailed quote. When he came for the estimate he said he did not think the boiler was cracked and did not think it needed to be replaced. He spent about an hour or so at 7pm in the evening getting it to start and it has been working fine ever since. He saved us $6000. How can you not trust someone who I told I was going to go with to replace my boiler.

It's true that Goldys oil heat service is fast, friendly and affordable. I had impossible problems with my old oil furnace recently (early December 2013). Thank goodness Steve was here with a solution. As I am a senior, he was also patient and kind and gave me a good break on his service ad the parts that were needed to fix the furnace. Thank you, Steve Goldstein, for keeping us warm..

We called because we had no heat or hot water. Steve came within a few hours, assessed the situation and replaced a clogged valve. The cost was very reasonable and he made sure to clean up after himself. He took a great deal of time to answer my questions and explained to me the costs and advantages of updating our furnace as well as alternatives to oil heat, We have used this company many times (as we have a very old home) and Steve is always very professional and friendly.

Smoothly, quickly and professionally. Will certainly use them again. I believe that the job that was performed was worth the usual price of $150 and was lucky that I joined Angie's List to find out about this offer.
