Gabby's Cleaning Service

Initial meeting discussed price and services. Pointed out particular spot in kitchen that I wanted cleaned. First thing I did after service completed was check this particular spot. it was not cleaned. Walked through home. Cleaning was done but there were a few odd and disappointing things which made it clear the people that cleaned were inexperienced or not competent: 1) Chandelier crystals strings were hanging unattached from one hand, others attached in the wrong spot. I would have expected cleaner to contact me advising she was having difficulty.2) Wooden blind in 2nd bedroom was hanging oddly - i reached up to adjust it and the valence fell off. I then found two wooden valence pieces on the floor.3) My calphalon pan's finished looked mottled - I called Gabby and her sister spoke for her "What did she use to clean the pan?" Her sister talked to Gabby in spanish and then told me in English "Easy Off". Now the pan was not that dirty-- I had made easy over eggs in it with some olive oil. It just needed a quick wipe with dawn and scotch brite. Now it is ruined. To their credit they offered to replace it. I never heard of cleaning pots and pans with Oven Cleaner.4) The bathroom ceramic floor had a film on it - I asked what they used to clean that - the answer was fantastic. I found that odd, but that could just be me. The other odd thing was that the house did not smell clean. Usually after cleaning the place smells clean, and sparkles. Needless to say I do not recommend this service. I dont think they know what they are doing.
