Description of Work: Poor communication. Poor service. Moss did not honor his guarantee. |I ordered and paid for seven 10-ft Norway Spruce trees to be planted in a row along my property's border. Moss delivered and planted 9-ft trees. |Per his terms, I sent him a 50% deposit in early May, 2013, but could not get him to commit to a start date until I finally asked for my deposit back a month later. That worked. His crew showed up a week later. |Moss guaranteed the trees for one year, providing I watered them properly; which I did following his instructions exactly. In early spring, 2014 I reached out to Moss asking him to inspect the trees because they did not appear to be doing well. All seven trees had dead branches, with two trees fairing far worse than the others. I sent him pictures of the trees and asked him to inspect them with me. Instead, he diagnosed the problem solely from the pictures I sent, attributing the trees' poor health as being deer damage. Norway Spruce trees are deer resistant and the choice of trees was made on his recommendation. |From April, 2014 until July, 2014, I repeatedly asked him to inspect the trees with me and to replace at minimum the one tree that had over 50% dead branches. He made no effort to inspect the trees, meet with me, or honor his guarantee. My last email to him was on July 11, when my "guarantee" presumably ran out. I was hoping he would at least take a look at the trees and give me some reasonable alternatives. No response.
