The whole project took 6 months ; on time and on budget. We hired Dan initially only to draw the plans. We later hired him to build. I loved his crew; polite, funny and left little mess. They cleaned up every single day. We lived through construction with 2 kids. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed coming home every evening to see the project move forward. Dan was with his crew everyday. They worked Monday to Friday from 7am to 4 pm. High quality of work, no gimmicks, no double talk ... very honest. I would hire him again.

Dan is a hard nosed guy who refuses to listen or compromise. if you have any construction projects in our area i would stay away from him.This kitchen remodeling project was a total redo of kitchen. He was brought to us by a kitchen designer and we were initially impressed. The project after many delays was started in November of 2011 with demolition of the old kitchen. We lived for 15 months out of a slop sink, hot plate and microwave. We were excited in the beginning and then we started to see evidence of shortcuts being taken. Subcontractors like plumbers and electricians were using minimal standards and we had problems with building inspectors. The plumber was so bad we told him to not bring his plumber Mike Foley back in our home. We then hired our regular plumber to correct the problems and do the balance of the work. We needed to discuss credits for these issues and that is when severe conflict started. My wife had a difficult time dealing with it and I had to keep the project moving so we compromised on many issues but still no satisfaction. Building inspections were failing and still all we got were excuses. We finally came to a final resolution to get a CO with many punch list items and painting to do and they never showed up again.
