Original Report: I'm very pleased with him at the moment because he did a great job in finding me new trees and replace the ones that had come down. Actually one of the trees got killed by the drought last summer. He's already in the process of finding me a new tree to replace that. I had a little trouble. He was getting exactly what I wanted, but because of the wetness of the spring the size of the tree that I wanted ended up with too large than the usual for him to transport easily with the equipment he had. I had to settle with a small tree. I was actually disappointed a little bit. I thought he would have a forklift or something for transporting, but all he had was a hand cart. He was very conscientious. He and his men dug the hole to plant the trees in the vicinity of the old trees. They had to work around the remaining roots left behind by the tree service that ground out the stumps. They did that without complaining. Although he did tell me afterwards that it made the job some what harder because he was training his people. I was grateful that he did that. He did come back a couple of times to check up on how things were. When I first noticed that the tree in fact was dying at the end of fall he came out to look at it. He's in the process of finding me a replacement tree which I'm grateful for. I would use him again in the future. Update, October 2012. Although we were promised a replacement tree, The Gardener's Nook never delivered. Our initial contact about the replacement was in Fall 2010, so we were content to wait through that winter to get a new tree in the following Spring. When we raised the issue again early in 2011, we were assured several times that we'd have a new tree "in a week or so". However, after our first few contacts with them that season, we stopped getting responses to our calls and emails. By the end of Summer 2011 it was obvious to us that The Gardener's Nook had no intention of replacing the tree, and we eventually purchased a replacement from another nursery in the Spring of 2012. It's a shame, we had such a good relationship with the Nook and would go out of our way to buy plants and gardening supplies from them. But when they shafted us on the replacement, we took all our business elsewhere.
Description of Work: I had a couple of new trees planted by The Gardener's Nook @ Spooky Brook in June 2010.
