METROPOLITAN HOME INSPECTION CO

It went very well. We are first time homeowners. Joel was very nice to us and answered all our questions. He was very thorough with the inspection. He also pointed out things we never would have thought to look at and gave us tips on how to do home maintenance. He was the highest in price among those I quoted for but certainly well worth the money paid. I had a question after the home inspection for insurance purposes and he still returned my phone call within the same day.

We were new to the area and very grateful to find him. He saved us a lot of cash and helped us get the right things fixed before closing.

Joel Mizrahi was prompt, educated, and thorough. He provided an enormous amount of information during the inspection and followed up with us after the inspection.
In the days that followed, Joel was available to answer questions and help us solve some problems. He phoned back promptly and was forthcoming with information that was important to us.

Joel was excellent. We used him twice. We first looked at a home that he found termite and water damage. We didn't end up buying that home, but used him for our next inspection. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I think you can't go wrong by using him to do your inspection.

Joel was there on time and first surveyed the exterior very well. He took a lot of pictures (some were zoomed to detect cracks near roof). He asked us to give him some time to inspect basement which was also fine. He did a good job inspecting interior as well.
He also gives tips on the dos and donts. He encourages asking questions (although he does like to talk). The whole process took about 2.5 - 3 hours. The best part is the detailed inspection report with a lot of pictures. I have not used an inspector before so can't compare, but I think Joel did a great job. Only problem is that he is a bit expensive.

I have had Joel inspect two houses during time I was searching for a house. I did buy the second one and am happy ! Joel was very thorough and has extensive knowledge. He goes through each and every item in house - each window, each faucet and while doing this notices things which other may miss. He has extensive knowledge of house dos and donts. His report, available online, was detailed with pictures and clearly says if an item needs to be replaced. Also has suggestions and tips for home owners. He also gave a very useful book on house maintenance. Most importantly for me he was accessible on cell phone anytime after the inspection for follow up question and advise. He is professional as an inspector, so would not recommend any other contractor for follow up advice or work on the house. I called him several times and discussed in detail on the issues seen in the house. First house had issue with high water table / sump pump running frequently in basement. I read up a lot on the topic and discussed several times with Joel. Second house had Aluminum wiring and few other small issues which I again discussed several times with Joel.
