I hired Calafiore Construction to instal vinyl siding to my house and my wife and I are completely satisfied. The entire crew was very proficient, polite, and cleaned up after themselves, and Mark was always available to answer questions in person or via text. We will certainly be calling Mark for any additional home improvement projects we may have in the future.

I had a difficult porch repair that needed to be fixed from a prior botched job that was not up to code. Mark not only helped me fix it but gave me an honest quote compared to most. His work quality great and he communicated along the way. Iâ d hire Mark again for my next home project in a heartbeat

Great contractor with hard working teams. Mark handles everything, reasonable pricing and worked with my schedule. Work was done in sequence so the remodel work went to schedule. There were delays as expected when items I ordered were delayed. He picked up materials as needed and made time in his schedule when needed to go to multiple places to keep my job on track. He has good relationships with various merchants which then carries over to how they worked well with me. His crew cleaned up every day, he worked with my requests without issue and was v laid back for what I asked of him and his crews. He renovated 2 bathrooms. A kitchen and flooring and finish work for me. Handled permit processing and inspections- a real solid down to earth and above all respectful Licensed General Contractor who has no problem rolling up his sleeves to do as needed to keep the work on track. I highly recommend Mark you will get great work done by a great team.

Mark made this an easy project for me, right from the start. He showed up when he said he would, responded quickly with an estimate and gave me the information I needed. The actual work happened in the time frame he predicted, and the quality of the work was great!

Mark was very professional. He was in time and his work was second to none. I ‘ve had many compliments on my deck and have referred some Mark yo doe friends . He’s coming back to install a front door.

They came in and completed the deck repair within a week. Good communication and the job was completed well.

Mr. Calafiore provided prompt competent service even after a heavy snowfall. He climbed a ladder outside the back of my house in the snow and removed a dangling portion of detached aluminum facia cap, took it back to his shop and fabricated new replacement sections. Four days later he installed the new sections of aluminum even with new snowfall on the ground and very cold weather. He could not have done better in my opinion.

I had a few shingles missing due to the storm. Mark inspected the roof found some more issues came the next day and fixed them. Prompt, courteous and organized. Will recommend

Can't do better than the TAT I got!! Got a call right away, they were on-site within 24 hrs and I am pretty sure the problem is fixed!!! Would recommend and I will be using them again for further home improvement projects

It has been very disappointing experience so far. Hired Marc for whole roof repair. Roof was not in a bad shape, he inspected it and told me multiple places where shingles would have to replaced. I also told him few places where I want shingles to be replaced and I also told him that I want a report outlining all problems he found with photos. He agreed for all this. He has not sent the report which he said would send the same day or by next day latest as he would have plenty of time because of snow and can not do any work. I called him few times and now he keeps making excuses. He did not replace shingles at multiple places (front of the house, on the side and shingles covering attic fan as there are screws put on them which are leaking. Just to re emphasize, I had told him about all these problems before giving him the contract. Few places he said that he would cork after weather is warmer. But he should have replaced shingles everywhere. My mistake was that I paid him the full amount, get suckered by his smooth talk. I will wait for him to come and fix all remaining issues, at that point, I may change my review. My advice would be to avoid the guy. But if you still want to hire him, then have everything in writing with expected finish dates and do not give him any money until he finishes all the work.

Purchase the house that we are in 7 years ago and the now 20 years old roof had to be replaced, as well as the chimney. The chimney had a wood structure built around it for reasons not known to us, however we had our suspicions as to why. Of all the estimates we received Calafiore Construction was the only one that provided a best and worst cost scenario on the chimney work not knowing what was behind the wood structure. The four days estimated to do chimney and roof repairs on home was completed in three days and a couple of hours on the fourth day with not hidden cost. The masonry and roofing crews that worked on this project were very professional, reliable, and their work impeccable.

On August 4th, 2020 a 70 foot tree crashed into my home crushing the dormer and punching holes all over my roof. I literally did not have a roof over by head. The next few days were a flurry of activities with numerous contractors arriving to give me quotes on the work needed. With each contactor I grew more and more alarmed. They were quoting astronomical prices that did not even cover the full repairs. In some cases I had no idea what was included in the quote and what was left out. Mark arrived at my home about a week after the event. Within 15 mins of meeting him I could feel the stress draining away. He got out his ladder climbed on the roof and then came in the house to observe the damage and to take measurements. None of the other 5 contractors who visited did this. He provided some quotes immediately and others within a few days. The prices were reasonable and made sense and I knew exactly what I was getting for my money. Within a few days I had a full breakdown of all the work and an understanding of when each item would be completed roof, carpentry , guttering and dry wall. Three weeks later, all work was completed and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Mark Calafiore for construction services and roofing. He is a seasoned professional, committed to providing high quality work and keeps his word. My family and I are grateful to Mark and his crew for their integrity, hard work and professionalism.
